Thrive had a awesome night as we begin November. Tom had a great word tonight speaking on correcting your path in your life. He showed a video of base jumping where you constantly have to make small adjustments to have a successful jump. If you start to stray off that you can change your course back to how it needs to be.

Thrive Youth! Fall is in full swing, and the youth group is going strong! We did things a little differently tonight. Laura taught about bearing fruit and had a great way to remember the five points by using each finger.
We also did surveys that all the students had an opportunity to fill out to gauge where they are spiritually and in their lives. Overall, it was a great night and a great turnout! See you next week at Thrive!

Jaden taught on the importance of character and how important it is for us to examine our own lives before being quick to judge others!

“And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?” Matthew 7:3-4

We had a great time at the corn maze today, but the apple c***r and homemade donuts may have been the highlight!

Thrive Youth Recap!
Tom taught on obedience and the importance of being obedient unto the LORD. He gave a lot of good verses from Proverbs! He broke the importance of obedience down into six points.

1. Wisdom in obedience
2. Safety in obedience
3. Future in obedience
4. Obedience is learned through suffering
5. Obedience can feel lonely and boring but it is ultimately worth it! 6. The obedient are stewards.

Obedience is so important especially for young people today. Tom gave so many verses about obedience and wisdom!

We had a fun night at Thrive! Josh had a great word about Jeremiah and Job. He read some good verses out of the book of Lamentations. We need to rely on the LORD in our hard times. Even when it feels like we are alone, He is always with us!

Thrive Youth! Landon had a great word tonight about Godly counsel. It is important to remember these questions when seeking counsel.
- Are you truly seeking Godly counsel
-Have you first come under authority
-Have you predetermined your decision
-Are you willing to hear the hard truth
- Are you willing to obey God’s desire for you.
These are just a few of the many great points Landon brought up tonight. He articulated the importance of having good Godly counsel and how crucial it is to your Spiritual health.

This month we are focusing on wisdom and listening to Godly counsel! Sabrina taught a great message about how much better it is to have Godly counsel in your life and to go in the direction God has for you rather than going through life doing what is right in your own eyes.

Thrive had a worship night led by our youth worship team! It was great seeing the presence of God move during the service! The youth also had an opportunity to pray over one another. It was an amazing night!

Tonight we had a powerful night of worship and prayer! The youth led us in worship and we focused on the power of the cross and how the blood of Jesus sets us free from sin, sickness, shame, bo***ge, and so much more! We love seeing our youth so on fire for the Lord!
