Meet Annie May, the beloved momma cow at Safe Haven Boys Ranch!

Annie May is more than just a cow around here — she’s part of the Safe Haven family. There’s something special about the gentle presence of an animal like Annie May. She reminds us that love, patience, and kindness can be found in the simplest moments.

For the boys at Safe Haven, caring for animals teaches valuable lessons about responsibility, compassion, trust, and unconditional love. Annie May has a way of bringing smiles, slowing things down, and making the ranch feel a little more like home.

We’re so thankful for Annie May and the special place she holds in the hearts of everyone at Safe Haven Boys Ranch. She may be a momma cow, but she’s definitely one of our ranch’s sweetest treasures.

MEET GUS — THE MOST ADORABLE GATEKEEPER YOU’LL EVER MEET!

Forget security cameras… we’ve got Gus.

Gus the donkey takes his job as official gate keeper at Safe Haven Boys Ranch VERY seriously. He’s on duty 24/7, accepts payment in treats, and has absolutely no problem letting you know when you’re late.

His qualifications include:
✔️ Excellent hearing
✔️ Strong opinions
✔️ Zero tolerance for suspicious activity
✔️ Professional treat detection
✔️ A face you just can’t say “no” to

A visit to Safe Haven Boys Ranch might just get greeted by our four-legged security guard!
