☂️A BIG “thank you” goes out to the Haralson Sheriff's Foundation INC, every Jeep Ride participant, every person who purchased raffle tickets, every prize donor, and our Board of Directors/volunteers for another successful Jeep Ride fundraiser. The rain stayed away and a good time was had by all.

💟 Our House Domestic Violence Shelter sincerely appreciates the support shown to us today. Everyone involved with this fundraiser directly impacts the care we are able to provide our clients during some of the most harrowing time in their lives. We love and appreciate you all.

💜 OCTOBER IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS MONTH 💜
October is a time to raise awareness, break the silence, and remind survivors that they are not alone.

At Our House, we know that domestic violence does not stop because funding gets cut. Survivors still need a safe place to go. Children still need support. Crisis calls still come in. Safety planning, advocacy, shelter, transportation, case management, and resources are still needed every single day.
And this year, your community support is more important than ever.
Our House was cut $30,000 in state funding, with the possibility of additional reductions to VOCA funding. These cuts have a real impact on our ability to provide the services our community depends on.
💜 But our community can make a difference.
When you donate and shop at our thrift store, attend our fundraisers, volunteer, share our posts, or simply help someone understand what domestic violence looks like, you are helping keep these services available.
Domestic violence is a community issue.
Supporting survivors is a community responsibility.
And together, we can make sure help remains available when someone is brave enough to ask for it.
This October, don't just wear purple. Be part of the change.

Thank you, Our House Thrift Store, for having me out!

In case you don’t know, profits from the thrift store are used to support the clients at Our House Domestic Violence Shelter. This store and its sales are a vital component in keeping women and children safe from domestic violence, and aiding them in getting back on their feet after escaping unimaginable situations.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. Let’s all help end domestic violence by shopping in a sustainable, affordable way at Our House Thrift Store for the rest of this month and alllllllll of October.

The Haralson County Sheriff's Office and the Haralson Sheriff Foundation are excited to present our 4th Annual Jeepin' for Our House Domestic Violence Shelter to be held on October 3, 2026. Registration is available at haralsonsherifffoundation.org or at the Sheriff's Office.

🏍️💜 WHAT A DAY! 💜🏍️

Today’s Widows Sons Bowdoins Knights Chapter Poker Run was an incredible success, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who came out to ride, play, eat, laugh, and support Our House Domestic Violence Shelter.

From the early-morning pancake breakfast to the last stop, the day was filled with good people, good times, and an even better purpose. Every mile ridden and every dollar raised helps Our House continue providing hope, help, healing, and a safe place for survivors of domestic violence in our community. 💜

A HUGE THANK YOU to:

🏍️ Every rider and passenger who showed up and supported the cause — your participation truly makes a difference!
