We’ve been working on something very exciting.. Our YouTube channel dedicated to parents, training students, practitioners, fellow recreational therapists, and anyone interested in learning more about what we do!

Our goal is to create a fun, supportive space where you can ask questions, learn new things, and feel less alone on your journey.

Recreation is the tool & therapy is the purpose!

Here are a few interventions we incorporated into sessions this week! Each activity is intentionally adapted to meet each individuals abilities, interests, strengths, and treatment goals of every participant. While these interventions may look like a mindless fun activity, each one is intentionally designed to address specific therapeutic goals such as emotional regulation, social skills, communication, problem-solving, attention, and independence.
