😂🐾 MEET SIXX: 40 POUNDS OF BULLY, BASSETT, AND ABSOLUTE CLOWNERY! 🐾😂

🚨 WARNING: EXTREMELY HANDSOME, COMICALLY BUILT, AND POSSIBLY PART CLOWN SHOE. 🚨

A few months ago, we saved this handsome little meatball from ACCT Philly, and now it’s time for Sixx to find his forever family! ❤️

Meet Sixx, a young bully boy around 1–2 years old (we’re guessing here, folks!). Now, if we had to put some 💰 on his breed mix, we’d definitely be placing a bet on BASSETT HOUND! 😂

I mean, LOOK AT THOSE DROOPY EYES! 👀 Those adorable eyes even needed a little medical attention, and Sixx has already had bilateral cherry eye repair AND airway surgery. This boy has been through his own little medical makeover, and he’s ready to cash in on the good life!

And then there’s the WALK. 🤣🤣🤣

Have you ever seen a dog who looks like he’s wearing giant clown shoes? Because Sixx has mastered the art of walking like his feet are two sizes too big for his body. He is 40 pounds of solid, compact, ridiculously lovable goodness, and we wouldn’t change a thing!

🩺 BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE TO SIXx’S STORY!

Sixx also struggled with chronic ear issues and skin problems on his paws. After being switched to a hydrolyzed protein diet, those problems cleared up! And the icing on the cake? His poops are finally SOLID, too! 💩🎉

Yes, friends, we are celebrating healthy skin, happy ears, and 💩 that doesn’t require a hazmat team! 😂 Sometimes the right food makes all the difference, and Sixx is feeling so much better!

But here’s the BEST part… Sixx is pretty darn close to PERFECT! ❤️

🐾 Good with other dogs
👧 Great with kids
🚗 An AWESOME travel companion
💕 Packed into one adorable, low-to-the-ground, big-footed package!

Seriously, what more could you ask for?!

Sixx has done his time waiting, and now he deserves a family who will love his goofy looks, his silly walk, his squishy face, and every single ounce of his amazing personality. His new family will need to continue his hydrolyzed protein diet to keep him feeling his best.

WANT TO MEET THIS HANDSOME LITTLE CLOWN? 🎪🐶

📍 Come meet Sixx THIS SUNDAY at Barkley's Market Place in Flemington from 11 AM–2 PM!

🏡 Ready to make him part of your family? Visit www.outcastrescue.com to submit your adoption application!

Please help us share Sixx! His forever family has to be out there somewhere, and we have a feeling they’re going to fall head over heels for this boy. ❤️

💕 IRENE HAD HER WEEKLY SPA DAY: Because Even Divas Need a Little Maintenance! 💕🐾

Now, before anyone gets scared off by the words “genetic skin condition,” let’s put things into perspective.
🛁 Irene needs one bath a week. ONE. That’s it. Honestly, that’s less bathing than most children require, and she probably complains less, too! 😂
💊 She takes a few vitamins every day. Don’t we all? Hers just help keep her skin moisturized and looking fabulous.
🧴 She loves having lotion rubbed on her dry spots. So basically, she’s a girl who enjoys a good spa treatment. Who can blame her? Free massages? SIGN ME UP!
🥗 She’s on a special diet to keep allergies under control. Again, welcome to the club, Irene! Half the world is gluten-free, dairy-free, or avoiding something these days.

What Irene brings to the table is SO much more than what she needs. She’s affectionate, loving, cuddly, and absolutely thrilled to receive belly rubs. And guess what? She’s dog friendly too! Irene loves having canine friends and especially enjoys a good rough-and-tumble wrestling session. She’s always up for some playtime with her four-legged buddies! She is professionally trained by GypsyK9 Solutions and excelled in her training!

Here’s the thing…
Irene isn’t broken. She isn’t difficult. And she certainly isn’t any less deserving of a loving home because she requires a little extra skincare.
She’s just a sweet girl with a few manageable quirks. And let’s face it, don’t we ALL come with a little baggage and a maintenance routine? ❤️
💕

🐾 Please consider meeting Irene. You might go into it thinking you’re giving a dog a chance… and walk away realizing you’ve just met your new best friend.
Besides, who wouldn’t want a best friend who comes with her own spa day? 🛁🐶💗
💕 Share Irene’s story! Her forever family might be just one share away. 💕

LOOK AT THIS BOY. JUST LOOK AT HIM.

Will you just look at our boy Norton?! 🥺
This little 4-month-old puppy has already been through more than any baby should ever have to experience.
Imagine putting your trust in the person who is supposed to love and protect you… only to have that person take their anger out on you. And what makes this even more heartbreaking is that this is not the first time Norton has suffered fractures.
Yet somehow, after everything he has endured, Norton still trusts.
He still wants to be loved.
He still wants to give love. ❤️
And we have a feeling that once this little guy is healed and gets to just be a puppy, he is going to turn into one BIG GOOFBALL! 🥰
Norton's leg fracture has been surgically repaired, and thankfully he is doing well. But now comes the hard part: 4 weeks of STRICT crate rest until his follow-up appointment.
And let us tell you… keeping a 4-month-old puppy entertained while he is supposed to REST is going to be a challenge! 😂

So, we put together an Amazon Wishlist specifically for Norton with things to keep his little brain busy and help him get through these next four weeks without going completely stir-crazy.
🛒 Want to spoil Norton while he heals?
You can send him something from his wishlist here:

Every toy, chew, enrichment item and little gift will help make these boring weeks a little easier for this very deserving boy. ❤️

For now, we are NOT accepting applications for Norton. His only job is to heal, rest, and learn that humans can be kind.
We will worry about finding his forever family when he is ready. 🐾
Please keep Norton in your thoughts as he continues to heal. This boy deserves nothing but good things from here on out.

💔 SUNDAYS HAVE BECOME MEDICAL DOG DAY… AND YESTERDAY WAS NO DIFFERENT. 💔

It seems like Sundays are always going to be our “take the medical dogs from ACCT day.” It never fails. Just about every Sunday, we get that call.
Yesterday was no different.

We were asked to take a 4-month-old Doodle puppy who was “supposedly” hit by a car. Of course, we said yes.

Meet Norton. 🥺💔

Norton is currently hospitalized at Crown Veterinary Specialists and Emergency, and unfortunately, there is a much more disturbing story behind his injuries.

Yes, Norton has a distal femur fracture — his bone is literally broken in half. But his X-rays showed something even more concerning…

He has healed rib fractures.

There is no road rash. No bruising. No other evidence consistent with being hit by a car. And Norton is urine-stained over much of his entire undercarriage and legs.

Taken together, his injuries and condition are extremely concerning for prior trauma and abuse.

This is a FOUR-MONTH-OLD BABY.

He should have been playing with toys, getting into puppy trouble and sleeping in someone's lap. Instead, he's lying in a hospital cage with a broken leg and evidence that someone has already failed him terribly.

Norton is being evaluated by the Surgery Department today and will likely undergo surgery. 🙏

And because apparently one medical emergency wasn't enough for a Sunday…

As we were preparing to bring Norton in, we were contacted about a TINY 4–5 week old Chiweenie puppy who had been found discarded in a box with a re**al prolapse.

Of course, we said yes to her too.

Meet Blaire. 💔

This little angel arrived at the hospital extremely dull, with a re**al prolapse that appears to have been present for some time. She was admitted immediately because the veterinary team is concerned that she may be becoming septic.

Think about that for a moment.

Someone put this tiny baby in a BOX and left her there.

She is only weeks old.

She didn't deserve to be discarded like trash.

But she was found. She is now safe. And we are going to fight like hell for her. ❤️‍🩹

We don't know what the next few days will bring for Norton and Blaire. We don't know what their final medical bills will look like. We only know that they are worth fighting for.

And we need your help to do it.

These are the cases that drain rescue financially. The cases that come with emergency hospitalization, surgery, specialists, medications and round-the-clock care.

But walking away isn't an option for us.

Please keep Norton and Blaire in your thoughts today. And if you are able, please consider making a donation — $5, $10, $20… every single dollar helps us continue saying YES to dogs who desperately need someone to say YES.

We will keep you updated as we know more.

Now these two babies need something they haven't had enough of in their short lives:

Someone to fight for them.

And that's exactly what we're going to do. ❤️🐾

Welcome to Outcast Rescue, Norton & Blaire. You are safe now.

💕 LOOK AT OUR GIRL TOFU! 💕
From neglect & starvation survivor… to FOREVER HOME READY! 🥹🐾
Just look at this beautiful girl! It is hard to believe that this is the same Tofu who came to us as a neglect and starvation survivor. Today, she is thriving—and she is finally ready for the part of her story we have been waiting for…
HER FOREVER FAMILY! 🏡❤️
Tofu has been absolutely nothing short of AMAZING. She has been off her shutdown period in foster for a few weeks now, and she is doing wonderfully with her foster brother. She has blossomed into such a fun, loving, affectionate girl!
And when we say affectionate, we mean STAGE 5 CLINGER. 😂
Want to do something by yourself? Nope.
Need some personal space? Not happening.
Going to the bathroom? She'll probably supervise. 😂
Tofu wants to be WITH HER PEOPLE and honestly, after everything she has been through, we aren't mad about it! ❤️
But she's not just a professional cuddler—this girl is ready to LIVE LIFE! 🐾
🐶 Loves her people
🐶 Loves going for nice, long walks
🐶 Knows all of her basic commands
🐶 Knows several tricks, too!
🐶 Doing wonderfully with her foster brother
🐶 Loves chill male dogs
🐶 Smart, affectionate and eager to please
🐶 About 2 years old
We would likely say no to a cat household, as Tofu does tend to focus on the smaller critters she sees in the yard.
Tofu is up to date on her vaccines, on monthly preventatives, microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed in two weeks. ❤️
This girl has fought HARD to get where she is today. She went from surviving to THRIVING, and now all she needs is someone to show her what forever feels like. 🥹
Could you be Tofu's person? ❤️

Please share her post. Somewhere out there is the family Tofu has been waiting her whole life for. 🐾❤️

**Adopted **

💕 Meet Hazel! 💕
Our little Frenchie firecracker is ready to find her forever family! 🐾
Hazel is a 2-year-old French Bulldog who came to Outcast Rescue about a month ago after spending an entire year in protective custody. She and her sister had been waiting for their chance to finally start over—and now Hazel is ready for the next chapter of her life. ❤️
When Hazel arrived, her tummy was a hot mess after dealing with chronic Giardia that had been treated multiple times. We wanted to make sure there wasn't something else going on, so she recently had an abdominal ultrasound with Internal Medicine—and thankfully, she got the all-clear! 🙌
With the right medications and a multifunctional prescription GI/Hydrolyzed Protein diet, Hazel's stools are now looking pretty darn good! 🎉
And now for the fun stuff...
💥 Hazel is a TOTAL Frenchie!
Zoomies? She lives for them.
Wrestling? Absolutely.
Pushing boundaries? Naturally. 😂
Passing out cold afterward with her 4-legged foster siblings? 100%!
This girl loves to PLAY and any dog who is willing to wrestle and have fun is likely to become her new BFF. She does well with dogs big and small and is also good with children.
🚨 CATS ARE A HARD NO. Hazel absolutely cannot go to a home with cats.
Hazel is:
🐾 2 years old
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Up to date on his years vaccines
🐾 On preventatives
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Kid friendly
🐾 NOT cat friendly
🐾 A professional-level zoomie enthusiast
😂
We are looking for someone who truly understands French Bulldogs and the special needs that come with this breed. Frenchies can be high-maintenance little characters, and their health and environmental needs need to be taken seriously. They cannot be exposed to heat, and their families need to understand the importance of keeping them cool and safe.
Hazel has been through enough waiting. Now she deserves a family who will love every ridiculous, stubborn, hilarious, adorable inch of her. ❤️
Interested in giving Hazel her forever home?
