In late May, at Lehigh Carbon Community College at our 40th Annual Elmer Gates Enterprise Awards we honored 43 career and technical education students from across the Lehigh Valley. They were recognized for their scholastic achievement, school and community involvement, entrepreneurial spirit, and involvement in SkillsUSA.

"Modeled after the popular events where high school athletes sign with colleges, the students from Lehigh Career & Technical Institute, Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School, and Upper Bucks County Technical School signed with their future employers, institutions of higher learning, and military academies as their parents and other supporters watched.
