Yesterday, my wife and I attended New life church, in Hayward. I had the blessing and privilege to preach and share about prison ministry.
Thank you , Pastor Dubayonne, for the invite, friendship and support of , His ministry, FUMI.

Yesterday was a long day , we went into NKSP at 8am and left at 3:30. We met with 53 men. This morning we hope to go into D and B reception yards and finish by 11am, then home.

This morning, 5 of us will be going into NKSP, Delano. We are scheduled to visit , M, B,D and A yard chapels.

Yesterday, I met with a ten men in B-yard. Every time we visit they faithfully attend seminars. Only two men were approved and on the list , yet the staff allowed the group anyway. There are major problems with the process, many sign up to attend but the list either gets misplaced or lost.
Today , Vitaliy will be joining me along with a first timer, Roman.
We may not be able to go into two yards at same time but will attempt to do so.
The harvest is plentiful..

This morning, I’m going into SVSP to teach the last three sessions of a seminar on spiritual maturity. I am expecting help from another volunteer but haven’t heard from him this morning.
After finishing up , hopefully before 2:30, I have a meeting the community resource manager at Soledad. We hope to start facilitating church services once a month in C-yard. They have not had church services for many years.

Today , I had the privilege to preach in New Folsom, in C and B yards. We had to go into a classroom in C, because the chapel was flooded.

A conversation between volunteers Dellana and Tim —

D: Prison is for criminals, right? And I used to be a criminal. So those are my people, and I want to go and share this good news that I have been given.

T: You've been in Folsom Prison and Chowchilla Women's Prison. What's your evaluation as far as: Are people genuine in there? Do they really hunger? What do you see?

D: Absolutely. I see a genuineness there. I see a desperation there. I see Christians in there, and I see unbelievers in there ...

D: Imagine being a Christian in a prison. You've still got all the crazy prison politics, the criminal behavior in the prison ... and so they need to be encouraged. They need to hear truth — so they can be the salt and the light in that prison to those inmates that are not saved, that need Jesus, right?

Hear from one our volunteers, Dellana.
