A conversation between volunteers Dellana and Tim —
D: Prison is for criminals, right? And I used to be a criminal. So those are my people, and I want to go and share this good news that I have been given.
T: You've been in Folsom Prison and Chowchilla Women's Prison. What's your evaluation as far as: Are people genuine in there? Do they really hunger? What do you see?
D: Absolutely. I see a genuineness there. I see a desperation there. I see Christians in there, and I see unbelievers in there ...
D: Imagine being a Christian in a prison. You've still got all the crazy prison politics, the criminal behavior in the prison ... and so they need to be encouraged. They need to hear truth — so they can be the salt and the light in that prison to those inmates that are not saved, that need Jesus, right?
Hear from one our volunteers, Dellana.
