A few brave scouts and leaders traveled to Muskegon, Michigan to learn about the USS Silversides Submarine Museum. The boys then spent the night on the operational submarine.

Last night’s court of honor included new scout leadership hand offs for the year. 16 merit badges were awarded and 2 scouts advanced to the next rank. Congrats troop 261.

Today we took part in the St Clair Memorial Day parade handing out American flags.

Tonight our troop was present to welcome two AOL scouts as they earned their Arrow Of Light Awards and ranked up from Scout Pack 261 into Troop 261. Welcome boys!

As part of Scouts Trash the Trash Day the boys did a 45 minute trash pick up around Perch Point Conservation Club and gather over 250 pounds of trash. It was a good reminder that simple good turns make a difference.

Last night a few of our scouts and leaders joined another scouting unit to spend the night The Toledo Zoo. They took part in a behind the scenes tour, a nocturnal animal hike and helped make enrichment activities for the wolves.
