Everyone is invited to attend a special Liberty Tree Dedication Ceremony on Saturday morning at the Old Graveyard (located behind the Farm Bureau Building in Carmi).

The Long Knives Chapter of the Illinois Society of the Sons of the American Revolution will muster at 9:00 a.m., with the dedication ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Enjoy a morning filled with history, patriotism, and community spirit, including:
⭐ Revolutionary War-era reenactors in period uniforms
🎶 Live music
🌭 Food from the 5th Street Market Food Truck
🏛️ Museum and Old Graveyard tours following the ceremony

Bring a lawn chair and spend the morning celebrating our nation's heritage as we officially begin White County's celebration of the 250th Anniversary of American Independence.

Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to America's Semiquincentennial. We hope to see you there! 🇺🇸

Paper copies of the rummage sale list are now available during business hours at lobby of Carmi City Hall and The 103 grounded in grace

Please note: the printed list only includes sales that were registered before last night. Since we have nearly 60 sales participating, a printed map wasn’t practical. Instead, you’ll find a QR code to a Google Map on the paper copies to help you plan your shopping route.

The online list is still live, so there’s still time to add your sale! The link is in the comments.
