During April break, Leonie visited the Basketball Hall of Fame and went bowling with exchange friends!

The friendships created between fellow students are some of the most impactful connections made during an exchange year. The exchange student network continues to be a meaningful resource, even after students return home from their year abroad. ❤️

Alex from Germany had the amazing opportunity to visit Puerto Rico with her host school and classmates! The experience, which she says was the best week of her exchange year, was an opportunity to connect with school friends more closely while also learning lots.

The week long trip included helping to build a house for a local family, cleaning a turtle habitat beach, learning about indigenous spirituality, as well as some amazing sight seeing and tropical weather!

Thank you to Alex's host school for providing this unique opportunity to all of the kids involved 🕊️🌱 It's wonderful to have school partnerships that share common values!

Alex from Germany had the chance to visit Hawaii! 🌺🌊She saw the sights with fellow exchange students and enjoyed local foods while soaking up the sun.

Each year, hosted students have the opportunity to join optional Belo trips for a fee. In a typical year, at least one of our Mass Bay students will opt to travel to Hawaii with this program. It can be a wonderful way to experience a new and beautiful place in the US!

A handful of Mass Bay students manage to visit the city during their stay each year. Madita had a chance during the holiday season! She saw the sites, enjoyed the atmosphere, and even met Taylor Swift 😉
