High School Girls... Mark your calendars to join us on Friday October 9th for Sips with Sisters! We will be welcoming Sr. Emmanuella, TOR, & Sr. Elizabeth, TOR (originally from Jackson).

The Sisters will be in the area for a Ladies retreat and have graciously agreed to come and hang out with some teens as well. (Please note for the Ladies retreat, High School girls are welcome to attend with their mom.)

We will celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday April 17, 2027.

Parents of Candidates entering 8th grade, mark your calendars now to attend one of our mandatory informational meetings. The Teen Candidate and a parent need to be present. One will be on the morning of Saturday August 8, and the other will be held on the evening of Wednesday August 12.

This past weekend we took our "Faith on the go" to Steubenville St. Louis Mid America Youth Conference. Our group of almost 50 was able to grow & go with our faith through the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation, as well as, being able to spend some quiet time with Jesus in the chapel and during Adoration with about 5,000 friends! Of course we had small group discussions, snacks, and plenty of fun as well! Sts. Dymnpha, Joan of Arc, Rose of Lima, Carlo Acutis, Thomas Aquinas, and Vincent de Paul, please continue to pray for us. St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church - Cape Girardeau, MO

Hello St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church - Cape Girardeau, MO Parish Family & Friends!!! We will be taking a group of 40 teens to the Steubenville Youth Conference, leaving this Friday morning. (Yes, only 2 more sleeps until we leave.😴😴) We want to ask for your help as we are in the final stages of preparation.

Ways to help:
1) Please Pray for us! I've asked all the parents to pray the Prayer to St. Michael each day leading up to and throughout the conference, and we would love to have you join as well. (Also see our Patron Saints below) 🙏

2) If you would be willing to make some sweet treats for our journey, please let me know. (We like to have some CC Cookies, Brownies, & Rice Crispy Treats made for lunch on the way home, as well as, throughout the weekend. 🍪 **update, CC Cookies & Brownies are covered. 🤗

3) In an effort to encourage teens to be off their phones more, we have a raffle for each small group. (The less their screen time, the more chances they have entered. We currently have few small things for them, but I would love to add a couple $5-10 gift cards to local places that the teens enjoy. If you are interested in donating to this, please let me know. (We will have 5 different small groups) 📵
