Multiple benefits from human and animal interaction are not limited to pet owners. One study (of many) found that the presence of a friendly dog reduced blood pressure in children who were asked to read aloud (Friedmann, Katcher, Thomas, Lynch, & Messent, 1983).

Thank you to the Downtown Rotary Club of New Braunfels for our grant! We always appreciate the community gift to keep serving the children in our community through the tools of our certified therapy dogs.

We are so excited that NB Women Go voted for to win a grant to help cover expenses of training Champ for their new venture into the human-animal bond and assisting children affected by trauma.

Best Buddy Kimberly and her Canine Companion Sierra had such a great school year with their kiddos. It's amazing what a caring mentor and loving dog can do for children's confidence and skills. We love all those smiles!
