Meet Julian – The Ragdoll Romeo Who Will Steal Your Heart! 💙🐾

**Male | Presumed Purebred Ragdoll | Backyard Breeder Survivor | Professional Flirt & Champion Purr Machine**

**Move over, Romeo! There's a new heartthrob in town, and his name is Julian!**

Named with a nod to **Julian McMahon**, the handsome actor known for his charm and leading-man appeal, our Julian has a little Hollywood magic of his own. He's handsome, affectionate, a bit mysterious, and knows exactly how to make you fall in love with him.

One minute he's hiding, the next he's flirting with you, wrapping himself around your legs, and making his way into your lap. And just when you think you've won his heart completely, he disappears back into his private quarters!

**Julian is a romantic at heart. He just likes to keep a little mystery in the relationship.**

From a Kennel to a Second Chance

Julian came to SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming as part of a heartbreaking backyard breeder abuse and neglect case involving several presumed purebred Ragdolls.

When rescuers found him, Julian was confined to a kennel. His beautiful coat was severely matted, and he was significantly underweight. Without the proper nutrition, grooming, exercise, and care he deserved, his body had suffered.

In fact, Julian looks older than he actually is, a heartbreaking reminder of what prolonged neglect can do to an animal.

But don't let his appearance fool you.

**There's a playful, affectionate, mischievous gentleman underneath that neglected coat, and he's ready to make up for lost time!**

After spending so much time confined, Julian deserves a home where he can stretch those legs, explore, chase toys, and experience the freedom of simply being a cat.

And boy, does he love to play!

# # # The Wand Toy Is His Secret Weakness!

Julian may initially be frightened when he enters a new environment. He'll likely find a safe hiding spot where he can observe his surroundings and decide when he's ready to introduce himself.

But here's a little secret we've discovered.

**Bring out a wand toy, and suddenly our shy gentleman becomes a playful kitten!**

There's something about a feather or dangling toy that Julian simply cannot resist. Before you know it, he's running, chasing, pouncing, and showing off the playful personality that's been hiding beneath his fear.

Watching Julian discover the joy of play is especially meaningful because he spent so much of his previous life confined.

He needs room to move, build strength, and enjoy the physical activity he was previously denied.

And when playtime is over? Well, that's when his romantic side comes out!

# # # A Ragdoll with a Ph.D. in Flirting!

Ragdolls are famous for their affectionate, people-oriented personalities, gentle dispositions, and tendency to follow their favorite humans around the house.

Julian is beginning to show us exactly why this breed is so beloved.

He loves being brushed, and grooming time often turns into an affectionate little performance.

He'll wrap himself around you, lean into your attention, and slowly work his way closer until—surprise!—you've got yourself a beautiful Ragdoll in your lap.

And the purring?

**Oh, the purring!**

Julian has a wonderfully loud, rumbling purr that lets you know just how much he's enjoying himself.

He also absolutely adores gentle kisses on the top of his head. Give him a few, and he'll snuggle right into you as though he's trying to soak up every ounce of affection he's missed.

But remember, Julian is still learning to trust.

He might flirt, cuddle, purr, and then retreat to his favorite hiding place. That's simply his way of balancing affection with the security he still needs.

Don't take it personally. This handsome boy is learning that love doesn't have to disappear when he walks away.

# # # Julian's Dining Requirements – A Gentleman Who Loves His Food!

After arriving severely underweight, Julian needs a consistent, carefully maintained feeding routine to support his recovery.

And there's one thing we've learned about this handsome fellow:

**Julian LOVES wet food!**

His future family must be willing to follow SOS Cat Rescue's specific nutritional and supplement requirements.

**Required food, supplements, and feeding routine:**

- **Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Dry Food:** Must be available for free feeding, with his bowl kept full according to his recovery plan.
- **Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Wet Food:** An important part of his daily nutrition.
- **Just Juicy Wet Food:** Julian absolutely loves this food, and any flavor is a favorite! It's one of the quickest ways to make this gentleman happy.
- **Under the Weather High-Calorie Powder:** Must be added to Julian's food **daily**, following the specific amount and instructions provided by SOS Cat Rescue and his veterinarian. This nutritional supplement is part of his weight-recovery plan.
- **Consistent feeding:** His adopter must maintain the recommended diet and supplement routine, with any changes coordinated through SOS and his veterinarian.

After experiencing food insecurity and neglect, Julian deserves to know that his next meal will always be there.

**His daily high-calorie supplement is a required part of his nutritional recovery plan, not an optional extra.**

# # # Grooming & Litter – The Nonnegotiables

Julian's beautiful Ragdoll coat requires regular maintenance, especially given the severe matting he experienced before rescue.

Fortunately, he genuinely enjoys being brushed!

His new family must commit to:

- **Daily brushing:** To keep his coat healthy, comfortable, and free of painful mats.
- **Bathing as needed:** Using gentle, cat-safe grooming products and a calm approach.
- **World's Best Cat Litter:** This is the required litter for his transition and ongoing care.
- **Absolutely no scented or perfumed litter:** Julian needs an unscented litter environment, without added fragrances.

Consistency is especially important for cats recovering from neglect. Familiar food, litter, and routines can help Julian feel secure in his new surroundings.

# # # Who Is Julian's Perfect Match?

Julian needs someone who understands that a frightened cat and an affectionate cat can be the very same cat.

His ideal adopter will be patient enough to let him hide when he needs to, but engaged enough to encourage him to play, explore, and build confidence.

**His perfect home will offer:**

- A safe, quiet transition space with a comfortable hiding place.
- Room to stretch, run, and exercise after spending so much time confined.
- Daily interactive playtime, especially with his beloved wand toys.
- Plenty of gentle brushing, head kisses, and affection when he seeks it.
- Consistent nutrition, including his required daily high-calorie powder, grooming, and litter routines.
- A family willing to support his physical and emotional recovery without rushing him.

Julian doesn't need someone who will pull him out of hiding to prove that he's friendly.

He needs someone who will sit nearby, wiggle a wand toy, and let him decide when the flirting begins!

He may not become completely comfortable overnight. But he's already showing us that beneath his initial fear is an affectionate, playful boy who genuinely wants human companionship.

# # # Julian's Second Act – From Forgotten to Fabulous!

Julian's first chapter was filled with confinement, neglect, and uncertainty.

But his next chapter?

We picture a handsome Ragdoll stretching out on a soft blanket, chasing a feather wand across the living room, enjoying a delicious bowl of wet food, and curling into the lap of someone who absolutely adores him.

Someone who understands why he occasionally retreats to his hiding place.

Someone who laughs when he flirts and then runs away.

Someone who brushes his beautiful coat every day and rewards him with a gentle kiss on the head.

And someone who realizes that every loud purr is a little victory.

**Julian may have spent much of his life in a kennel, but his heart was never meant to live in a cage.**

He's ready for freedom, playtime, affection, and a family who will help him become the confident, magnificent Ragdoll he was always meant to be.

**Give Julian the time to trust you, the space to explore, and the love to flourish—and this charming little Romeo just might become the greatest love story of your life.**

💕 **Apply to adopt Julian through SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming at www.soscatrescue.org.**

*Some gentlemen bring flowers. Julian brings a feather wand, a thunderous purr, a little flirtation, and a whole lot of love.*

Gizmo — Your Next Favorite Little Lovebug!

Hi! I’m Gizmo, and I have SO much to tell you!

I’m a gray-and-white domestic silky-haired boy, estimated to have been born in February 2026, and I’m basically a furry bundle of energy, fun, and LOVE. If you’re looking for a playful companion who is always ready for the next adventure—or the next cuddle—I’m your guy!

I absolutely LOVE my fellow kitties. I play the most with the other young kittens because, well… they can keep up with me! I also like to groom my feline family members. Somebody must make sure everyone stays looking fabulous, right?

And OH BOY, do I love to PLAY FETCH! Give me my little stuffed mouse and I’ll chase it, grab it, bring it right back, and wait for you to throw it again. And again. And again! I’ve done it 10 times in a row with my human. Honestly, I could probably keep going until you need a nap.

When I finally run out of zoomies, I have a favorite place to recharge: a chair snuggled up with the other kittens. But I’m not just a kitten’s kitten—I’m a total lover boy with my humans, too.

I LOVE being held. I love cuddles. And I have a particularly adorable habit: I will suck on my human’s ear for as long as they’ll let me! Hey, everybody has their love language. Mine just happens to involve ears. Purrsonally, I think it’s pretty adorable.

Oh, and did somebody say Churu? That’s my favorite treat! Say the word and I’m suddenly very interested in whatever you’re doing.

I’m litterbox trained, too. I haven’t met a dog in my foster home yet, so we don’t know how I’ll feel about canine roommates. There aren’t any children here either, but my foster human thinks I’d be loving and friendly with them.

Basically, I’m energetic, affectionate, playful, cuddly, curious, and always ready for fun. I’ll chase your toy, groom your cat, snuggle in your arms, and possibly make myself very comfortable on your shoulder while giving your ear some serious attention.

So… what are you waiting for?

Let’s play fetch! Then we can cuddle. Then maybe some Churu. Then fetch again!

I’m Gizmo, and I’m ready to make your life purrfectly more fun!

Meet Martha – A Little Martha Stewart with a Big Comeback Story! 💕

Female | Approximately 5 yrs | 6.8 lbs of Determination, Sass & Potential

Martha Stewart built an empire around the comforts of home. Our Martha is simply dreaming of having one of her own.

Meet Martha, a petite little lady who has every reason to be a bit particular about how things are done right now. And after hearing her story, we think you'll understand why!

Martha came to SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming from a heartbreaking neglect situation involving a backyard breeder. At just 6.8 pounds, this little girl arrived with nails so severely overgrown that they had curled around and become embedded in her paw pads.

Imagine trying to walk, stand, or simply get comfortable when every step hurts.

It's no wonder our little Martha isn't exactly rolling out the welcome mat just yet!

She's understandably a little irritated, and frankly, we think she's earned the right to have an opinion. After enduring that kind of discomfort, who wouldn't be a little grumpy?

Martha Stewart Would Approve of a Proper Home Makeover!

Our Martha isn't looking for a perfectly decorated mansion, an elaborate tablescape, or even monogrammed bedding. Although, knowing cats, she'd probably appreciate a plush pillow with her name on it!

What she really needs is a complete lifestyle makeover—one that includes soft blankets, nutritious meals, gentle hands, and the opportunity to discover that humans can be kind.

Right now, Martha is still adjusting to a world where people are helping her instead of overlooking her needs.

We believe that as her pain subsides and she begins to feel safe, Martha's true personality will start to blossom.

We don't expect her to be the life of the party immediately. Healing takes time, and trust isn't something that can be rushed.

But we see a little girl with tremendous potential, and we're willing to give her all the time she needs.

A Little More About Martha

Martha is a tiny girl with a big story. Her exact age is still being determined, and we are continuing to assess her overall health following the neglect she experienced.

Her future family should understand that she may need extra patience, especially when it comes to handling and building trust.

She's not a cat who needs someone to fix her personality. She's a cat who needs someone to understand what she's been through.

And once she realizes that the painful days are behind her, we believe she'll begin to settle into the comforts of being a cherished companion.

The Home Martha Deserves

Martha would benefit from a peaceful, understanding home where she can decompress at her own pace. Her ideal adopter will celebrate the little victories—her first relaxed nap, the first time she seeks affection, and the day she realizes she can finally let her guard down.

She needs someone who understands that a cat who has experienced pain may communicate differently until she feels comfortable again.

Martha isn't difficult. She's been uncomfortable, neglected, and understandably overwhelmed. There's a big difference.

And just like her famous namesake, we suspect Martha will eventually develop some very specific opinions about how her household should operate!

After all, every home needs a Martha in charge.

A New Chapter for Martha

Martha Stewart once made the phrase "It's a good thing" famous.

For our Martha, a good thing would be something beautifully simple: waking up every morning knowing she'll never have to suffer from neglect again.

No more painful paws. No more being overlooked. No more wondering whether someone will care.

Just a warm bed, a full belly, gentle affection, and a family who sees beyond her difficult beginning.

Martha doesn't need a picture-perfect home. She needs a home where she can finally feel perfectly safe.

Could you be the one to give this little lady the fresh start she deserves?

💕 Apply to adopt Martha through SOS Cat Rescue & Rehoming at www.soscatrescue.org.

Because every Martha deserves a beautiful home—and this one deserves to be the queen of hers.

🌸 Annie Elliott — A Quiet Little Heart Waiting for Her Happily Ever After

Some of the most beautiful love stories aren’t loud or dramatic. Sometimes, they’re about patience, understanding, and finding the place where you truly belong.

Meet Annie Elliott, a beautiful tortoiseshell girl inspired by Anne Elliot, the gentle, thoughtful, and quietly resilient heroine of Jane Austen’s Persuasion.

Much like her literary namesake, Annie isn’t one to demand attention or rush into unfamiliar situations. She’s a quiet observer with a sensitive heart who prefers to take life at her own pace.

In fact, Annie has the most endearing little habit of peeking around corners before entering a room, almost as though she’s checking to make sure everything is just right before making her appearance!

She’s timid, cautious, and wonderfully laid-back. She’s not particularly interested in chasing toys or creating mischief. Annie is much more comfortable enjoying the peaceful side of life.

A Little Tortitude, a Lot of Quiet Charm

Tortoiseshell cats are famous for their beautiful patchwork coats and what cat lovers affectionately call tortitude—a reputation for being independent, opinionated, and full of personality.

But Annie has her own interpretation of tortitude.

She’s not feisty or demanding. She’s selective, reserved, and perfectly content to stay out of the spotlight. She knows what makes her comfortable and appreciates having the freedom to make her own choices.

A Journey Worth Telling

Annie’s story began on the streets before she made her way to New Hampshire in search of a forever home.

She was adopted, but unfortunately, her first home wasn’t the right match. With young children, dogs, and a busy household, Annie appeared to become overwhelmed. She began urinating in houseplants rather than consistently using her litter box.

Her family returned her to rescue, giving Annie another opportunity to find a home better suited to her gentle nature.

Annie is now back in Dallas, Texas, where she’s settling into foster care and showing us just how much the right environment can matter.

And here’s the wonderful news!

Since moving into her new foster home, Annie has not had a single litter box accident!

She’s also living with other cats and doing well. This is especially encouraging because Annie can be selective about her feline companions.

Her progress suggests that having the right environment, routine, and sense of security can make a tremendous difference.

The Forever Home Annie Deserves

Annie isn’t searching for an exciting household filled with constant activity. She’s looking for her own peaceful little world.

Her ideal home would offer:

* A calm, predictable environment without young children or energetic dogs.
* An only-cat home or one with a calm, respectful feline companion. She currently lives with other cats but is selective about her friendships.
* A patient, understanding adopter who won’t rush her or expect her to become an outgoing, playful kitty.
* A quiet safe room where she can settle in gradually and become familiar with her surroundings.
* Jackson Galaxy’s slow introduction method if joining a household with another cat. Proper introductions are essential to helping Annie feel secure.
* A consistent litter box setup and routine to support her continued success.

A Love Story Written in Patience

In Jane Austen’s Persuasion, Anne Elliot is a woman of quiet strength whose story reminds us that sometimes the best things in life are worth waiting for.

Our Annie Elliott has already experienced more change than a little cat should have to endure. From surviving the streets to traveling across the country and returning to Texas, she’s had quite an adventure for someone who would much rather enjoy a quiet afternoon.

She may not greet you with wild enthusiasm or entertain you with endless kitten antics. She may peek around the corner and watch you for a while before deciding it’s time to join you.

But that’s Annie.

A gentle, cautious little soul who isn’t asking for much—just a peaceful home where she can finally feel safe, accepted, and loved exactly as she is.

Like every great Jane Austen heroine, Annie deserves a happy ending.

Perhaps her forever story begins with you. 🌸🐾

Meet my foster baby, Hans, an SOS Comfort Lynx Point Siamese Kitten about 12 weeks old.

He was saved from a life of misery in a deep or being Euthanized in a South Texas border town. (Thank you Molly Lowe )

He still has a bit of sadness in his eyes that only a loving family will erase. Can you see it?

Hans loves to snuggle, play, chase balls with bells or chase da bird. He is curious about everything. Getting pictures of him is a game where he spends every moment chasing fingers & the camera!

Hans starts purring as soon as he sees me, and wraps his arms around me to hug me close.

Hans is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV FIV and Heartworm, with a microchip.

‼️‼️ We need your advocacy‼️‼️A law is about to go in effect on January 20 that will greatly impact rescues that are small- along with people with personal pets who use meds produced in other countries because they are affordable.
If this goes into effect we will be extremely limited on the rescue work we can do. Buying meds overseas helps us help more cats.
Please sign the letter to Congress urging them to strike this rule down. This medication import ban is across people and pets!

The DRUGS Act (‘Domain Reform for Unlawful Drug Sellers Act, H.R. 6352 & S.3399) is legislation that would rob you and millions of Americans of daily medications that keep them healthy and alive. Worse yet, the legislation is backed by Big Pharma front groups.
