Healing doesn't happen overnight.

That's why 81.9% of H.A.T.H.A.'s services are provided through ongoing weekly or monthly classes rather than one-time workshops or events.

Trauma-informed yoga is a practice, not a quick fix. Through consistent participation, individuals learn to reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and build skills that support long-term wellbeing.

Over time, participants may experience:

✨ Greater mindful resilience
✨ Reduced stress and anxiety
✨ Improved emotional regulation
✨ Increased self-awareness and self-compassion
✨ Better focus and mental clarity
✨ A stronger sense of safety and connection

Just as physical strength develops through repetition, the mental and emotional benefits of yoga grow through steady practice. Each class is another opportunity to breathe, reconnect, and take one more step toward healing.

💙 None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors. Because of your support, H.A.T.H.A. is able to provide trauma-informed yoga and meditation at no cost to the individuals and organizations we serve. Your investment in this work creates opportunities for healing, resilience, and hope in our community. We are deeply grateful for every person who helps make these ongoing programs possible.

At H.A.T.H.A., we're committed to providing ongoing support because lasting change happens over time. Thank you for being part of that journey.

✨ DONOR SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Brittany, a dedicated H.A.T.H.A. supporter who has served as both a provider and a monthly donor!

Brittany is the CEO of Graceful Balance Wellness, a faith-based mental health and wellness practice serving Maryland and Pennsylvania.

She holds a master's degree in counseling from McDaniel College, has completed post-graduate training in trauma-informed practices, is certified in EMDR therapy, and is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.

Originally from Westminster, Maryland, Brittany now lives in Hanover, Pennsylvania, with her husband of 17 years, their four children, and four mini dachshunds.

When she's not working with clients, you'll find her practicing yoga, hiking, kayaking, or enjoying the outdoors. She's also a proud sideline cheerleader for her children, who compete in the World Ninja League (think *American Ninja Warrior*) and competitive swimming.

When it comes to yoga, Brittany's favorite style is Vinyasa Flow.

When asked why she supports H.A.T.H.A., Brittany shared:
💙 "I love that H.A.T.H.A. not only cares about spreading the love of Jesus through movement, but also supports the wellbeing of the teachers."

We are incredibly grateful for Brittany's expertise, enthusiasm, generosity, and years of support. Supporters like Brittany help make it possible for H.A.T.H.A. to provide trauma-informed yoga and meditation programs at no cost to the organizations and individuals we serve.

💚 Building Community Impact 💚

Recently, H.A.T.H.A. founder Bethanie and Admin Mandi attended a grant writing workshop presented by Valley Partners and supported by Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley at The Wean Foundation.

Continued learning and collaboration are important investments in our mission. By strengthening our grant-writing knowledge and connecting with other community organizations, we're better positioned to pursue resources that expand access to healing, hope, and recovery support.

Thank you to Valley Partners & The Wean Foundation for bringing nonprofit leaders together to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our collective impact.

🔷 June is Men’s Mental Health Month. 🔷

At H.A.T.H.A., we recognize that strength includes the willingness to pause, breathe, and take care of what’s going on beneath the surface. Men, in particular, often face added challenges around mental health and are statistically less likely to seek professional support.

Yoga offers space to release stress, reconnect with the body, and support emotional balance, all without judgment or expectation.

To the men in our lives: your mental health matters here too. And to those who love and support them, this is a reminder that presence, compassion, and encouragement can make a real difference. 💙
