Friends of Green River Lake We are a non-profit, non political, and non-sectarian organization. The Association shall not promote or oppose the candidacy of any person seeking election.

The Association shall function exclusively for charitable, education, and scientific purposes. Welcome


The mission of the Friends of Green River Lake is to promote the educational and recreational uses of Green River, lake shore and associated land regions while protecting and enhancing their ecological, and cultural attributes. Friends of Green River Lake is a not-for-profit partner with the U.

S. Army Corps of Engineers, State of Kentucky, County and Local Governments, as well as local businesses and private individuals in management of 20,000 acres of Public Land which offers extensive opportunities for camping, fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, hiking, and biking.We meet at 6PM the second Thursday of the month at the Corps Visitors Center at Green River Lake.
