The Taylor County Good Samaritans Foundation is a non-profit, tax deductible organization, designed to ease financial stress for those diagnosed with Cancer and facing the unknowns of this devastating illness in Taylor Co. The mission of the Taylor County Good Samaritans’ Foundation is to provide financial assistance to individuals and families who are Taylor County residents and have been diagnosed with and are undergoing treatment for cancer. The financial assistance provided by the Taylor County Good Samaritans’ Foundation is meant to assist cancer patients and their families with the costs of transportation, meals, loss of income, and other expenses associated with cancer treatment.

The Taylor County Good Samaritans are raising funds to support local cancer patients right here in our community.

September was a great month for connection, new ideas, and welcoming new faces at Taylor County Good Samaritans! 💙

At our September meeting, we were proud to welcome Madi Harden, also known online as ForbiddenBee33, who introduced us to Nocturn Society — an online stream team dedicated to supporting charities and meaningful causes through gaming, creativity, and community.

Alongside other streamers across the globe, Nocturn Society works to foster a safe and welcoming online space while showing that joy, entertainment, and generosity can go hand in hand. Their mission says it best: “Stream Loud, Give Louder.” 🎮💜

Madi serves as a moderator and creator for the team, and she joined us to share some fun, creative, and unique ways Nocturn Society may be able to assist Taylor County Good Samaritans with future fundraising opportunities. We loved learning more about the ways an online community can turn entertainment into tangible impact for causes that matter.

We were also so happy to welcome several new faces to our group this month! 👋 Whether you’ve been involved for years or are just joining us, we’re grateful for everyone who brings new ideas, energy, and a heart for serving others.

Today, Taylor County Good Samaritans joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honoring the heroes who answered the call, and recognizing the courage and sacrifice shown on that day.

As an organization rooted in compassion and helping others, we are reminded of the power of standing together, caring for our neighbors, and serving one another in times of need.

May we always remember the past, honor those who served, and carry forward a spirit of kindness, unity, and compassion. ❤️🤍💙

Whether you already know them or are meeting them for the first time, we are excited to introduce — and reintroduce — the dedicated individuals who serve on the Taylor County Good Samaritans Board of Directors.

Another Taylor County Good Samaritans Bake Sale is in the books — and what an INCREDIBLE success it was! 🧁🍪🍰

We are so grateful to EVERYONE who helped make this year’s sale possible. Whether you baked, donated, picked up donations, helped set up, worked the sale, purchased goodies, made a monetary donation or simply helped spread the word — THANK YOU!

Every cake, cookie, brownie, pie and donation added up to something much bigger: supporting local cancer patients right here in Taylor County. 💕

A special thank you to Taylor Regional Hospital for once again providing a wonderful space to host our annual sale and to the amazing team members who always show up to support Taylor County Good Samaritans and the people we serve. Your support year after year means so much!

And to our community — you showed up BIG! We are continually amazed by the generosity of Taylor County. When there is an opportunity to help our neighbors, this community answers the call. ❤️

💗 Tomorrow is the day! 💗

The Taylor County Good Samaritans Annual Bake Sale is happening Friday, August 14 beginning at 7:00 a.m. at Taylor Regional Hospital!

📍 Find us in the TRH front entrance hallway near the Tree of Life.

We’ll have plenty of homemade goodies, sweet treats and breakfast foods available throughout the morning! 🍪🧁🥧

Most importantly, 100% of the proceeds from this bake sale will go directly toward helping local cancer patients who are actively battling cancer right here in Taylor County.

This fundraiser is always made possible because of the incredible generosity of our community — from those who bake and donate to everyone who stops by and purchases something. Every cookie, cake, pie and donation helps us continue supporting our neighbors when they need it most. ❤️

Please stop by, bring a friend and help us make this year’s bake sale another wonderful success!

Since 2015, Taylor County Good Samaritans has provided financial support and hope to local individuals and families facing a cancer diagnosis.

When one person in our community is fighting, they should never have to fight alone. Every donation, fundraiser, volunteer hour, shared post, and act of kindness helps ease the burden for someone right here in Taylor County.

🧁 Sweet treats can make a BIG impact! 💗

Taylor County Good Samaritans’ annual bake sale is coming up on Friday, August 14, beginning at 7:00 a.m. in the Taylor Regional Hospital front lobby!

Stop by and purchase delicious homemade cakes, cookies, brownies, pies, biscuits, breakfast foods and more—all while supporting an incredible cause.

Every single penny raised will directly benefit local cancer patients right here in Taylor County. Your purchase helps provide much-needed support to our neighbors who are battling cancer.

We are also gladly accepting baked-good donations of any size! Donations may be dropped off with any TCGS Member or Board Member!

Also, if you’re interesting in dropping your baked goods off, Rachael Thompson, Marketing & Public Relations Director at Taylor Regional Hospital, will be accepting donations the day before the sale or the morning of the event!
