Taylor County Good Samaritans was proud to participate in today’s Campbellsville Taylor County Chamber of Commerce Monthly Luncheon, featuring a special nonprofit spotlight! 💙

We enjoyed sharing information about our mission, services, and the ways we work to support individuals and families throughout Taylor County. Guests also had the opportunity to visit our table, pick up helpful information, and enjoy a few goodies!

Several of our board members were in attendance, and our Vice President, Lisa Pruitt, spoke on behalf of Taylor County Good Samaritans and shared more about the work we are honored to do in our community.

We loved hearing from the many other nonprofit organizations in attendance and learning more about the incredible impact they make every day. Taylor County is truly fortunate to have so many caring people and organizations working together to serve our neighbors and strengthen our community.

Thank you to the Chamber for providing this wonderful opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate local nonprofits!

🇺🇸❤️ Did you spot Uncle Sam in the Fourth of July Parade? ❤️🇺🇸

If you did, you were actually seeing a very familiar face!

Our very own Taylor County Good Samaritans Board President, Dr. Eugene Shively, proudly portrayed Uncle Sam while riding on the Taylor Regional Hospital float during today’s 50th Annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Parade.

Dr. Shively’s commitment to our community extends far beyond the parade. Whether he’s serving patients, leading the Taylor County Good Samaritans, or volunteering his time to support organizations that make Taylor County stronger, he is always willing to step up and serve.

Thank you, Dr. Shively, for representing both Taylor Regional Hospital and the Taylor County Good Samaritans with such hometown pride. We appreciate your leadership and your heart for our community.

We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful Fourth of July!

💙 A Heartfelt Thank You to Barton 1792 Distillery! 💙

The Taylor County Good Samaritans are honored and grateful to be a recipient of the 2026 Barton 1792 Distillery Community Grant in the amount of $2,500.
