Another reminder … TRAC will be CLOSED this Saturday to celebrate Kentucky’s “national holiday” with all its festivities and pageantry … not to mention all those magnifice thoroughbreds … that go along with the Kentucky Derby. We will be back all next week, as usual … 11-5 Tuesday thru Saturday. Hope to see you soon!

I think it goes without saying, but we are closing today and until Mother Nature is finished with this storm and we are able to safely get back in to the Archive Center. Hope you have plenty of food … batteries for your flashlight and lanterns … multiple phone chargers at 100% … and lots of water,blankets and patience. We will let you know when it is safe to come back to the archive center. In the meantime, be warm and safe.

We have enjoyed having time to celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s with family and friends. It was good to have some time off. But now we are anxious to get back to the archive center and helping you discover more of your family history. We will be open again at our regular time beginning Tuesday, January 13. As always, our hours will be 11 AM to 5 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Hope to see you soon!

Heads up: TRAC will be closed Thursday, October 30th and Friday, October 31. Up until that time, we will be open our normal hours: October 24th, 25th, 28th and 29th, 11am-5pm. We will also be open Saturday, Nov. 1. Enjoy your spooks and goblins !!!

TRAC HOLIDAY SCHEDULE ... If you are making plans to visit TRAC this year, October and early November will be the best time. During our eight years in operation, we have learned that the holiday season is very slow at TRAC. We understand. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are busy, fun, family times ... as they should be.

With that being the case TRAC volunteers - Laura and Virginia - are going to use this very slow time to take a break so that we can likewise prepare for and enjoy the holidays.

HERE IS OUR CURRENT 2025-26 SCHEDULE ... TRAC will be CLOSED beginning Monday November 24 (Thanksgiving week) until "at least" January 6, 2026.(exact date depending on Mother Nature).

ON THE OTHER HAND ... if you have family/friends coming to Campbellsville for the holidays who would like to take the opportunity to do some family research while they are here, you or they can email us at [email protected] and make an appointment. We will do our very best to accommodate out-of-down guests.

Thank your for your understanding. We have been volunteering (no pay) at TRAC over eight years. We love our work and our researchers. But everyone needs a break from time to time.

NOTE ... because there are ONLY two of us, if you are planning a trip to Campbellsville to visit TRAC at any time ... it's aways good to check our FACEBOOK page before you travel. We will always post closings brought about by weather, sickness, power outages or other factors.
