❤️ DONATION APPRECIATION ❤️

We want to say Thank You to New Journey Church of Campbellsville in their donation of individual bags of chips for the Warming Center!

We are so grateful for all of our community partners and volunteers that support the work of our ministry!

For the last 4 years, Project 410’s Founder & Executive Director Daniel Cook has been heading up a community warming center with the help of Upper Room Ministries, and numerous other agencies and non-profits.

The warming center is operated through the guidance and leadership of Project 410, in the facility of Upper Room Ministries.
It is open to anyone seeking refuge from the cold and dangerous conditions, anytime it is below 20 degrees or below for 48 hours or more.
On average we see around 12-15 guest per night, however we’ve sheltered as many as 25 people.
We rely on volunteers to serve as monitors, shift leaders and cleaners. We are blessed by numerous donors and supporters who help supply food, snacks, toboggans, Hot-Hands, coats and hygiene items. Guests are welcomed in, invited to eat, shower if desired and most importantly rest.

Currently, due to weather conditions, we have been asked by Emergency Management and City/County Officials to operate around the clock. We are attempting to do the best we can at that very task!

If you are interested in serving, please reach out to us!

❤️ DONATION APPRECIATION ❤️

Wow!!! We were blown away this week by this huge blessing from one of our longtime friends and supporters! She has blessed so many people through her generosity!

We are so grateful for these items, to keep our guests fed and warm!

We are currently OPEN and have volunteers through 6am tomorrow morning!

If you or someone you know is in need of warm shelter, stop by!

⚠️ We are still in need of volunteers for both Nighttime and Daytime Shifts!

* NOTE *
The Warming Center is operated by Project 410, Inc. Upper Room Ministries graciously allows us to operate out of their building.
We rely on volunteers to serve as monitors, shift leader, and cleaners.
Numerous people have donated items and food…this allows us to have food and items such as toboggans, gloves, hot-hands, etc. on hand to hand out to those in need.

We ask volunteers to work 6 hour shifts because we have tried numerous fits previously and it hasn’t been effective.
We can work with people on schedules however! We just do our best to provide a male and female per shift for accountability.

We are honored to serve as well as are all the volunteers, but let me be clear…before criticizing the endless amount of hours of service by VOLUNTEERS, and our ministry and the church…come serve a shift or two and see how it is a blessing to ensure a good nights sleep for our guests! It’s easy to complain about things but it’s harder to be the change!

Project 410 Board Member, Erika Burress from Early’s Chapel Church spent several hours there today too!! It truly takes a village to make it all happen!!

Thank you to everyone who has given financially, tangibly or by service!!
God is Good and we are Thankful for you!

“Every time I think of you I thank God for you.
I have joy in my heart every time I ask God to help you. I thank God for the joy we share in telling the good news from the very first day until now.” Philippians 1:3-5
