25 years ago our world changed …. 25 yrs ago the following members from WAVES answered the call : Sue Abbot, Kevin Skibinski . “Sister” Jo LaNasa, Dave “pod” Podkowinski, Dave Shalala and Jim McDonald (currently serving on our Board of Directors). They packed up extra supplies and went down to ground zero to lend aid. Their lives , like ours were forever changed . Please remember all that gave that day, and after and all that paid the ultimate price .

WAVeS has had a busy and exciting couple of weeks!

It was wonderful to see incredible female participation in the Gillie Girl event. We are continually amazed and proud to partner with the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. The Baldwin Fund Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon

On August 4th, WAVES joined other county first responders at Onondaga Lake Park for National Night Out. It was fantastic to connect with so many community members and teach vital hands-only CPR skills.

The WAVES team had an absolutely fantastic time at the Amboy Aviation Exhibit celebrating this incredible 100-year milestone. From history-making aircraft to the amazing stories behind them, it was an unforgettable experience.
