⚾️ 8U TOURNAMENT CONCESSION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ⚾️

CCYL is looking for concession stand volunteers for our upcoming WCRL (8U) P*e-Wee Tournament!

Tournament weekends are a great opportunity to support our league while helping provide food and drinks for players, families, and visiting teams.

Concession sales help fund improvements, equipment, and league operations throughout the season.

If you can spare a few hours, please consider signing up for a shift. Every volunteer makes a difference!

We’ll be honest... we need your help.

This season has brought more than our fair share of rain delays and rescheduled games, and it has stretched our volunteer coverage thin. At this point, if we do not have volunteers, we will not be able to open the concession stand.

Our board members have been doing their best to fill in, but we also have our own kids, teams, and family commitments throughout Wayne County. We simply cannot continue to cover these shifts on our own.

If your player received the $20 registration discount, that discount was given with the understanding that families would help support the league through volunteering. This is one of the ways we rely on everyone to give back. Even a couple of hours makes a big difference.

Current open shifts:

Tonight (6/15): 5:30 to 8:00 PM
Wednesday (6/17): 5:30 to 8:00 PM
Friday (6/19):
5:30 to 8:00 PM
7:45 to 10:00 PM (doubleheader)

We also need additional support as we host the Wayne County Rural League 8U Tournament. This is a great opportunity for our league. It brings in teams from across the county, supports our park, and helps us continue providing opportunities for our local youth.
Tournament shifts needed:

Thurs (6/25): 7:30 to 9:00 PM
Fri (6/26): 5:30 to 7:30 PM and 7:30 to 9:00 PM
Sat (6/27): Multiple daytime shifts
Mon (6/29): 5:45 to 7:45 PM

⚾️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ⚾️

Due to a makeup doubleheader scheduled for 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, June 19, we are in need of concession stand volunteers to help keep the concession stand running smoothly throughout the evening.

Our concession stand is an important fundraiser that helps support Cambridge City Youth League, and we can't do it without our amazing volunteers!

If you're available to help, please reach out as soon as possible. Even a small amount of your time makes a big difference.

The Cambridge City Youth League would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Reid Community Benefit for thier generous donation an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

The safety of our players, coaches, volunteers, families, and fans is always our highest priority. This donation helps ensure that we are prepared to respond in the event of a medical emergency and provides added peace of mind for everyone who spends time at our ball fields.

We are grateful for community partners like Reid Community Benefit who invest in the health, safety, and success of our youth. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on our league and the families we serve.
