Congratulations to our very own board member Reverend Amory Merriman on her ordination! Members of the United Christian Church and the wider California community recently celebrated this huge accomplishment with Amory.

A huge THANK YOU to the PennWest ladies basketball players (and their coaches) for their hard work cleaning the Gallagher House! These ladies dusted, swept, cleaned the woodwork, even decorated our Christmas tree! Then two of the girls entertained us by playing some tunes on the piano and we sang “Jingle Bells” (yeah, a little early but who doesn’t need a little Christmas spirit in October?)

Huge THANKS!!! to everyone who contributed to the California Area Historical Society during the 2026 WCCF Gives fundraising campaign. We are blessed to have so many supporters in our community. Final results have not yet been released by WCCF, but we didn’t want to wait any longer to express our gratitude.
