Created to forever honor our fallen skatepark committee members, friends, and family.

Provide assistance and funding to skateparks, provide scholarships, and make charitable donations to organizations and communities. We do this to forever honor the fallen members of the Calais Skatepark Committee through community involvement.

10% of all proceeds are donated to help fund su***de prevention, mental health services, and veteran services.

We are a nonprofit made up entirely of volunteers. Everything we do is about keeping skateboarding and all action sports moving forward in Maine, while honoring the fallen members of the Calais Skatepark Committee. Our mission includes supporting su***de prevention organizations, local mental health services, substance abuse foundations, and Veteran services.

But we cannot do any of this alone.

Our volunteers, donors, and local businesses are the reason we are able to keep doing what we do.

Jo's Diner & Pizzeria has stepped up for us on more occasions than we can count. Whether it’s providing food and drinks, donating prizes, promoting our foundation, or working with us to host events.

For the Tricks & Treats Jam, they went above and beyond and fed everyone at the event, completely free of charge.

From the very beginning, Jo’s and their employees have welcomed our nonprofit and supported what we are trying to accomplish. That kind of community support means more than we can put into words.

We cannot thank them enough for everything they continue to do for the Brendan Leddy Memorial Fund, the Calais Skatepark, and all of the riders who call this place home.

Our Winners Circle from the All Action Sports Jam!

This was a large division with rollerblades, BMX, and scooters all going head-to-head. Easily our biggest group of 2026. We could only pick two winners, and while everyone performed well and showed great park etiquette, which isn’t always easy when you’ve got 10+ riders on the park - these two on their scooters really stood out!

They walked away with fresh grip and cash in hand. Well deserved!

Jesse has been a part of the local skateboarding community for many, many years. Over this past year, his presence at our events, fundraisers, and work sessions has been constant, and his dedication to the park has never gone unnoticed.

Yesterday, we officially welcomed Jesse into the Brendan Leddy Memorial Fund family.

We are incredibly blessed to have so many amazing volunteers and board members who continue to give their time, energy, and passion to this community.

Welcome to the family, Jesse. We’re lucky to have you.

Our Winners Circle from the skateboard jam!

Every one of these guys pushed themselves, tried new things, pushed each other to step it up, and showed nothing but support for their competition. They cheered, applauded, and celebrated each other, all while stomping some seriously surprising tricks.

Harvestfest Tricks & Treats Skateboard Jam was sponsored by Powell-Peralta. We cannot thank them enough for their continued support of our local skatepark and our nonprofit.

Awesome turnout tonight for our Harvest Fest Tricks & Treats Action Sports Event. The energy was incredible, and we couldn’t have asked for a better group!

🎃 TRICKS & TREATS COSTUME JAM 🎃

Join the Brendan Leddy Memorial Fund Saturday, Saturday October 3rd from 5-7 PM at the Calais Skatepark for a free, all-ages night of skating, scootering, BMX, rollerblading, music, food, giveaways, and Halloween fun!

Come dressed in your best costume and ride under the lights! There will be an action sports jam with prizes, free food by donation, snacks, skate movies on the big screen, and free-to-use boards, bikes, scooters, helmets, and pads for anyone who wants to give it a try.

Come ride, remember, and give back.

Huge shout out to Cinthya for being awarded the St. Croix Valley Chamber of Commerce Arlo T. Bates Volunteer of the Year Award!

Cinthya has been helping with community events, nonprofits, and other fundraisers all year long, and the Brendan Leddy Memorial Fund is no different.

Cinthya is part of the BLMF, volunteers at our events and fundraisers, helps with parade floats, helps create connections between businesses and our organization, and everything in between. She has played an instrumental role in the success of our nonprofit.

Thank you for all that you do for us and for this community. We’re lucky to have you as part of the BLMF!

Full Park Action Sports Jam

With every competitor pushing themselves to and beyond their limits, we decided that every competitor deserved to leave with a new Powell-Peralta Flight Andy Anderson Hydrant Skateboard Deck!
