Founded in 2010, The Blue Devil Fund is a not-for-profit org. aimed at raising money for Calais charities with the use of basketball & Alumni Games.

Founded in 2010, The Blue Devil Fund is a not-for-profit organization aimed at raising money for Calais-area charities, by using the popular game of basketball as the organization's catalyst. The Blue Devil Fund's main charitable events are our annual Alumni Basketball Classic held over famed International Homecoming Festival Weekend, which features games for both Lady Blue Devil and Blue Devil graduates, and our annual Divots & Dunks Charity Golf Scramble hosted at St. Croix Country Club. Alumni Classics have been held annually since 2007 and Divots & Dunks has been held annually since 2018. Since its creation, we are proud to have raised thousands of dollars for local charities in Calais, Maine and throughout Washington County. We hope the continued support from our community, generous sponsors, numerous volunteers, and great fans will lead to sustained growth!

Good morning - It is that time of year again! We are proud to sponsor Bouncin' Blue Devils for Calais Elementary School students (Grades K-2), once again 🙌🏀👍

Flyers will be sent home with students tomorrow (Friday, October 23) and students can begin signing up next week. As a reminder, all Bouncin’ Blue Devils participating in the afterschool program will receive a t-shirt, basketball fundamentals/ballhandling instruction from Calais High Student-Athletes, and the opportunity to showcase their skills during a halftime performance of a CHS varsity game (date TBD).

Slightly delayed in sharing, but thanks to everyone who took a chance at “The MURPH” Putting Contest at DIVOTS & DUNKS Charity Golf Scramble (VIII) this year, we donated over $200 in support of the Kenny J Murphy, Jr. Memorial Fund! ⛳️👍💗

Our dear friend Kenny was a staple at Divots & Dunks every year and we are proud to continue supporting all the good they do in our communities in his beloved memory.

Follow their page to find out how you can join in supporting their work, as well!

THANK YOU to everyone who helped make DIVOTS & DUNKS Charity Golf Scramble (VIII) our largest fundraiser, yet! It was a fantastic day at the St. Croix Country Club with 100% of proceeds benefitting local charity. The weather could not have been better and there were endless smiles on the course!

This would not be possible without all of the golfers, our generous corporate sponsors, dedicated volunteers, everyone who placed bids in the silent auction, and of course the incredible staff at Divots Bar & Grill and The Croix.

Congratulations to Chris Woodside (CHS ‘04) & Co. on their championship performance - along with all the other divisional and competition winners! We are already looking forward to the 9th annual scramble in 2027.
