I hope everyone has an Alex in their lives! Alex is our resident bike mechanic. He took Brook’s bike for new brakes and had a trick out session! He had a blast riding his “new” bike last night and can’t wait for the weekend!

Seriously, no one has a bigger heart than Alex, and we are so blessed to have him!

What do you do when the heat has been so much since the start of the season and you finally get a cool day?? Have a scavenger hunt and game night!! 🤩

There are a bunch of reasons why we love this bike program, and this is a huge reason…

We are watching teenagers turn into positive role models and leaders.

Asher has given up ride time with his peers to mentor the younger kids on our team. He leads groups with a coach when we have younger ones that need more time on places and demonstrating things.

He saw us struggling to get an athlete to understand bike body separation and stepped in. He asked for Aly and Sidney to help. They both hopped in and with Asher holding the athlete’s bike and Aly holding Sidney’s, they talked the athlete through the positioning while he had a visual to mimic with Sidney’s body position.

This is what NICA is about. Community over competition, growing amazing human beings with exceptional values.

Asher is hands down an example of what we love to see in our youth. He always has a smile on his face, up for a challenge, down to help and mentor when needed… He’s a true leader already as a 9th grader. ❤️

Thank you Visit Conway and Arkansas NICA Student Mountain Biking for hosting yet another amazing event! It was another hot one, but thanks to our amazing sponsors, we got through it and the kids had a blast!

We had our first athlete ever to receive a leader jersey from Race 1 at Camp a couple of weekends ago! Congrats, Zoey!!

We had several podium! Brantley, Elijah, Kimber, Spencer, Shepherd, and Sidney all took a stand on the podiums this weekend!

Lastly, but certainly not least (and my favorites) our Middle School Boys and High School Girls all won team awards for their collective efforts on the race course AND their volunteer hours!!! After the last race our Cabot kids were ranked first in every category for TTC hours!

We have a bunch of amazing kids with great hearts! ❤️
