We work alongside local businesses and members of the community to achieve this goal! Serving those in Need during the Christmas Holiday's to see that they have a hot full meal for their family!

Dear Cabot Christmas Alliance/Christmas for Kids Families,

As we begin planning for the upcoming Christmas season, we want to share a few important updates regarding the Cabot Christmas Alliance (CCA) and Christmas for Kids (CFK) application process.

**Free/Reduced Meal Application Required**
Beginning this year, families must have a current Free/Reduced Meal Application on file before applying for Cabot Christmas Alliance/Christmas for Kids assistance. You can complete an application at your child's school Open House or watch for information from the school district in late July. We encourage families to complete them as soon as possible.

**Please Apply Only if Assistance Is Needed**
Cabot Christmas Alliance/Christmas for Kids is made possible through the generosity of community members who want to help ensure every child experiences the joy of Christmas. Because our resources are limited, we ask families to apply only if they are facing financial challenges that would make providing Christmas gifts difficult this year. This helps us ensure that assistance is available to those with the greatest need.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support families during challenging seasons, and we hope that those who receive help today may one day be in a position to bless others in return.

**A Note About Sponsors and Gifts**
We would like to remind families that every sponsor is different. Sponsors generously give from their own resources and choose the gifts they provide. As a result, gifts may vary from family to family. We kindly ask that you avoid comparing gifts received to those received by others and instead focus on the generosity and kindness behind each donation. Every gift is given with a caring heart, and we are deeply grateful for the sponsors who make this program possible.

**Application Dates**
The application window will be shorter this year, opening October 13, 2026, and closing November 15, 2026. Due to rising costs and economic challenges affecting both families and sponsors, these changes will help us better manage the program and serve as many children as possible. Late applications cannot be accepted.
