This past Saturday Troop 201 spent they day building a new pavilion at the Riverbend Campsite at Gus Blast Boy Scout Camp.

At last night's City Council Meeting, Ken Kincade Cabot Mayor recognized not 1, not 2, but 3 Eagle Scout recipients from the Boy Scouts of America!

He presented Carson Shaver, Jackson Jolley, and Luke Griffin with a Mayoral Proclamation recognizing their accomplishment which they earned through their outdoor chess project at the Library.

Carson built the wooden boxes to hold the pieces, Jackson built the chess pieces, and Luke built the outdoor chess board. Congrats guys and great job!!!

This past weekend the Troop set off on a 4+ mile hike back to a Cave. They set up camp and spent the night. Then packed back up and headed back the next morning.
