This year is about doing it afraid! No longer will I allow fear to dictate my moves. As we are preparing to celebrate YEAR 5, of hosting the It Takes A Village - Maternal Health Expo, I took some time to attend the Maternal Health Awareness Day at the Capital. That was the very first event I attended when I took the leap of faith to do this work. Full circle moment. Great
Discussion on bridging the gap for moms when they leave the hospital, livable wages for community-based birth workers, HB 291, educating the community, help for rural communities. The list goes on. Thanks to HMHB for hosting. Black Voters Matter was in the building. I reunited with Brittany, oooo if you knew the story!!

I went into the Capital and walked around. I didn’t chat with anyone but I was in the building 😂. Katherine Sylvester it is always great to see you. I met some new people and caught up with some old ones. Don’t care to take pics but i will get better.

We have some exciting things brewing for organization and I cannot wait to share. Fort Valley!!! We are coming ❤️❤️❤️. Stay tuned for more details.

Oh nothing! Just hanging out in Fort Valley with the FVAC Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and The Fort Valley Chapter of The Links Incorporated. Hosting mammograms at no cost to you and health screenings. We also have the Omegas on the grill. So come on out. Share with those you know. Hope to see you soon.
