Cub Scout Pack 5 - Butler, PA

Last night, Pack 5 had its end-of-the-year picnic. We had three children who joined later in the year finish their rank; congratulations to them. We had the children decorate boats and race them in our rain gutter regatta, which was a blast to watch. Then, the children launched their water bottle rockets that they decorated - we had some pretty creative ones. Lastly, they got to have hot dogs that they made over the fire, along with an Icee and a s'more that they each got to make. It was a nice night for it. We can't wait to see you guys over the summer.

Students worked through the creative process of developing storyboards, writing scripts, creating animations, and recording their own videos. You can catch one snippet below!}

----Note: Parking will be at Center Township. We will NOT have shuttles this year. You may park in any designated spaces or in the grass at the front of the building.

The scouts had a wonderful time at Spring Family Camp this last weekend! Our pack continues to grow and were heading into recruitment season coming up. With growth however, we have realized some of our camping supplies are dated and limited. We've compiled a list of things that we are looking to add or update. As it is not in the nature of scouting to solicit for money we simply made an amazon wishlist. If you are interested in helping out as a pack grows and increases activities you can take a look at the list.

Feel free to share with whomever. This will become a pinned post and a growing list

Pack 5 braved the seasons in just a few days this weekend at Moraine Trails Council Spring Family Camp.

Some scouts camped out in tents during some chilly temps.

Things warmed up Saturday morning followed by quickly by some rain!

Needless to say our pack got dirty and loved it all!

Big round of applause to the staff and volunteers that set these events up!
