Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Back to School Personalization Station at Burtonsville Crossing! 🎒✨

It was amazing seeing so many young artists personalize their pencil pouches, decorate school supplies, and head into the new school year with something uniquely their own. From colorful artwork to creative sticker designs, every masterpiece was a reminder that creativity builds confidence.

We’re also so grateful that families were able to pick up school supplies to help prepare for an amazing school year. Thank you to everyone who came out, created with us, and continues to support Creative Outlets Arts Center and our mission to make the arts accessible to our community.

🌈✨ What a Beautiful First Week of Summer Camp! ✨🎨

Week 1 is officially in the books, and our hearts are so full! 💛

This week, our young artists explored more than just art—they explored creativity, mindfulness, and self-expression. From practicing Rainbow Breathing and learning calming techniques to painting colorful rainbows, creating unique bubble print artwork, and designing their very own art journals, every day was filled with imagination, laughter, and confidence-building moments.

We love watching our campers encourage one another, try new techniques, and discover that there is no “right” way to create—only their way. 🌈🖌️

A huge thank you to our amazing families for trusting us with your little artists. Your support means the world to us!

Now… bring on Week 2! 🎉 We can’t wait for even more creative adventures, new projects, and unforgettable memories together.

Yesterday, we welcomed 12 new teaching artists as we prepared to launch 12 new Mindful Summer programs through our new partnership with Charles County Public Schools! ☀️🎨

Our team came together to tour the schools, unpack supplies, explore lesson plans, and get ready to bring three weeks of creativity, mindfulness, and joyful learning to students this summer.

We are so excited to begin on Monday and incredibly grateful for this enthusiastic group of artists who are ready to make a meaningful impact. Here’s to a mindful, colorful summer with Creative Outlets Arts Center! 💛✨
