Tae Kwon Do classes are back! A nice visit and catching up with one of our favorite custodians, Oscar. He has assisted us with opening the doors and sweeping the gym floor before every class since our days at Nicollet.

💛 Celebrating 28 Years of Mary LeMire! 💛

For 28 years, Mary has been a loving, steady, and cherished presence in One91 Early Childhood, caring for our youngest learners in the infant room.

Over nearly three decades, Mary has welcomed countless babies into her care—comforting them, nurturing them, celebrating their first milestones, and giving families the peace of mind that their little ones were in loving hands. For many children, Mary was one of the very first people outside their family to care for and know them so well. 💛

And the beautiful impact of that care has lasted far beyond those early years. Former students and families have continued to keep in touch with Mary throughout the years—sending holiday cards, sharing updates, and making sure she knows she was never forgotten. That says so much about the special place she has held in the hearts of the children and families she served.

As Mary retires, we celebrate not only her 28 years of dedication and commitment, but the countless little lives she helped shape and the families she supported along the way.

From all of us in One91 Community Education, thank you, Mary, for giving so much of your heart to our youngest learners and to our community. Your impact is measured not only in years of service, but in the generations of children who will always remember the love and care they received from you. 🌱💛

Congratulations on your retirement, Mary! You will be deeply missed, and your One91 family will always be grateful for you. 💛

💛 Celebrating 25 Years of Impact in One91 Early Childhood 💛

After 25 years with ISD 191, Megan is beginning a new chapter—and we couldn’t let her go without celebrating the incredible impact she has made in One91 Early Childhood's Ready to Grow and Ready to Learn.

Megan first came to ISD 191 in 2001 because of her love for children and her desire to make a difference during those important first years of life. Over the years, she has had the privilege of watching countless children grow, learn, discover, and become their own unique selves. She has comforted, encouraged, celebrated, and cared for so many little ones along the way.

As Megan shared, “Every child has left a little piece of themselves with me, and I will carry those memories with me wherever life takes me.” 💛

From all of us in One91 Community Education, thank you, Megan, for 25 years of compassion, dedication, and love for our youngest learners and their families. Thank you for the countless memories, friendships, and moments that have made your time here so meaningful.

We are grateful for the mark you have left on One91 Early Childhood and wish you all the best in your next chapter! 🌱💛

What better way to prepare our newest preschoolers (and their parents!) for the big first day than with a little Meet & Play? 💛

Before preschool officially begins, our students and families had the chance to:
🏫 Explore their new classrooms
👋 Meet their teachers
🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Make new friends
🧸 Play with classroom toys
💫 Get comfortable with new spaces, new faces and all the excitement ahead!

Sometimes the best way to ease those first-day jitters is to play, explore and have a little fun together! And judging by the smiles, our preschoolers are more than ready. 😊

Tomorrow, we welcome our PreK students back at ALL of our sites! We can't wait to see those little faces, hear those big hellos and kick off another amazing year of learning together. 🎒🌟

While our Ready to Grow and Ready to Learn programs are year-round, there’s something extra special about the back-to-school energy filling our buildings right now! 📚✨

Behind every happy hello, curious discovery, messy masterpiece and new milestone is a team of caring, dedicated teachers and staff who show up each day ready to nurture, encourage, teach and celebrate our youngest learners. 💛

From our littlest ones in Ready to Grow to our preschoolers getting Ready to Learn, our educators create a place where children feel valued, supported, safe and loved—while learning through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.

We’re so grateful for the incredible people who make these programs special. ✨

🎉 And just like that… a new school year is here! 💛🖤

As we welcome students, families, and programs back into our district buildings for the 2026–2027 school year, we’re taking a moment to look back—and WOW… what a summer it was! ☀️

From Summer School and Kindergarten Jumpstart to The EDGE, Project Kids, 3D: Discover, Dream, Do!, Blaze Camps, Senior Programming, ABE, Food Resources, Party on the Plaza at our International Drink Station, Rockin’ Reader, Community Theater, and Youth & Adult Enrichment—our summer was filled with learning, laughter, connection, creativity, and SO many amazing moments shared with our community. 💛

Every program. Every age. Every connection. This is One91 Community Education. And we are incredibly grateful for YOU—the families, learners, participants, staff, instructors, volunteers, and community members who make it all possible.

We may be saying goodbye to summer, but we’re definitely not saying goodbye to the fun! 😉 We have new programs, new opportunities, and plenty of exciting experiences waiting for you throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
