“Today while my sister and her family were gone, someone went into their home and took my nephew’s PlayStation and my nieces switch.
After Officer Stringer took his report and left, he returned with his own personal PlayStation and gifted it to my nephew.

“On Monday, Officer Coniglio answered a 911 call for service, but this wasn't just any 9-1-1 call. This call came from a 13 year old named Lucas that just watched a man cut the lock on his bike and ride it away. Lucas ran after him, but couldn't keep up.

Officer Coniglio took Lucas with him to drive the area and look for it, but they found nothing.

Seeing how devastated Lucas was, Officer Coniglio wanted to do more.

Officer Coniglio acquired not only a BRAND NEW BIKE, but a replacement lock, and matching helmet through Team Bike Rescue of Omaha. Rich, with Team Bike Rescue of Omaha, assembled the bike and delivered it all within the time of Officer Coniglio's shift. The dispatcher on the call even volunteered to fund a new lock.

Officer Coniglio started his day with Lucas' call, and ended it with the bike delivery.

It's about so much more than a bike.”

Thank you Omaha Police Department for sharing this awesome story with the world!!!
