What a night hosting the challenge paddlers with in Petersburg! Wonderful dinner at Third St Market and Cafe plus historical talk by Bridget Striker interrupted by massive storm. Then Petersburg historical Society helped the paddlers have a dry, safe place for the night. Thank you, Petersburg!

It’s KentuckyGivesDay! Please support preserving the beautiful natural lands of Northern Kentucky by making a gift now.

Your gift will help prepare our Ohio River property for public access and will enable the Conservancy to continue protecting the Northern Kentucky land that we all love.

Happy Earth Day 2026 🌎
Exciting momentum for land conservation across Kentucky:
Last month, Kenton County Fiscal Court and the Boone Conservancy Board of Directors approved an MOU to expand the Conservancy’s work into Kenton County. This is a meaningful step forward for regional conservation, because protecting our natural landscapes doesn’t stop at county or city lines.
At the state level, the Kentucky General Assembly approved $6 million for the Heritage Land Conservation Fund tripling 2024’s investment. While there’s still work to do to match neighboring states, this progress matters.
As Chair of the Kentucky Land Trusts Coalition, I’m especially proud of the collaboration across Kentucky’s land trust community to advocate for this funding and advance conservation statewide.
Here’s to continued progress—for our land, our communities, and future generations.
