Sparkle Cat Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue that is 100% volunteer and foster home based nonprofit 501c3 organization. Donations are tax-deductible. FEIN #47-2271286. Our PRIMARY MISSION is HOMELESS CATS - not cats needing to be rehomed that you adopted from another rescue/organization/individual/found as a stray. We are not a shelter and don't have an adoption center for visitors. All cats are in private foster homes waiting to be adopted. With an approved adoption application, we can set up a meet n greet. Meet adoptable bonded girls Maggie (black) and Hazel (gray). These two girls adore each other and desperately want a forever home together. Both were previously so shy and they have come a long way.

Maggie just turned 2 at the end of May. She has been in foster care almost her entire life and has really blossomed since last fall with the addition of Hazel into her foster home. While you still might have to approach her slowly, all you really have to do is call her and pat the seat next to you. She will plop down in your lap and let you pet her for hours. She gets along with great with all of the other kitties in the home except her annoying younger foster brother, Milo. Hazel is her constant shadow and she loves being the cool, protective big sis to her.

Hazel just turned one and she is obsessed with q tips and her best friend/big sis, Maggie. She knows when it’s bed time and will hop up in the bed and wait for me. I can now pet her for long spells and she will even let me pet her belly. As of right now, she prefers females over males, probably because I give her all the wet food and treats.

We think they would do best in a home without dogs (unless perhaps a small dog) and older children.

Chandler is a young adult and has been in foster care since he was a young kitten. He has become much more confident as he has gotten older. He gets along great with other cats and is an independent kitty who enjoys affection from humans on his own terms.

Mercury is a young adult male (exact age unknown, who showed up at his foster home injured). He has been in foster care since September of 2024. His injured leg has fully recovered.

He is a funny, quirky kitty who doesn’t seem to prefer the company of other cats and seems interested in foster family’s dog but somehow ends up being grumpy instead of friendly. He screams a bit when he wants something but at heart he really is a sweet kitty and loves people, just on his own terms.

We believe he’d probably be happiest in a house with fewer pets than his foster home. He is a tall guy and has lots of character and his own special charm and the way he communicates makes him seem almost human.

If cats went to space, this could be Pablo’s professional photo for NASA. He’s outta this world cute!

Pablo is FiV/Felv+ and currently being treated for Wet FIP, which is deadly unless treated. He’s doing very good on treatment and his appetite has not let up at all. Pablo (Poppa) was rescued late March along with 2 mom cats/7 newborn kittens, and 3 young under a year old males. We did PCR testing on the moms and they are negative for Felv. Roo is positive for FiV but no biggie. Joey, Junior and Jamie are negative for both. Kittens are healthy and thriving. Tinkerbell is the runt and last week she had testing done for a liver shunt because she’s so small and half the size of siblings.

We are so grateful to foster mom Tara for opening her heart and home to Pablo. He had to be fostered in a home as the only cat or with other felv cats.
