New To You "New To You" is a resale shop located at 1104 W Blaine St. We receive donations from the community, and resell those items at a discounted price. Blaine St.

The funds are used for several different projects, such as helping individuals overcome educational and employment boundaries. This Septe

mber, O.A.C.A.C. purchased 200 pairs of shoes for kids in Dallas County going back to school!The store is a place that people can feel good about bringing their unwanted items. Consumers can come find great bargains! And those individuals that want to give back to their community can come volunteer in the store.

On May 1st 2026 Ten Dallas County high school seniors were awarded each with a $500 scholarship to help with expenses for continued education or entry into the workforce.

The Judy Hargis Scholarships were created to honor a great woman who devoted 43 years of her life to helping families and students rise above, helping them believe in themselves. Judy was a devoted member of Dallas County who dedicated her life's work to helping students and families build positive futures.
It is in her honor that these scholarships were presented.
These scholarships were funded by sales from the New to You Thrift Store in Buffalo, which was created by Judy many years ago with the focus of supporting families.
It grew into a thriving community store which accepts donations daily, selling merchandise at very reasonable prices.
Many thanks to Judy for giving action to her vision and to the New to You staff and many community volunteers who work hard every day to make these scholarships possible.
Judy would be happy to know these students have a strong start to their future.
