Calling Local Artists!

We’re looking for a few more artists to participate in the 2nd Annual Surf & Turf Fundraiser on July 26 at the Surf Hotel-Ivy Ballroom in Buena Vista!

Register an art auction item and choose to either:
✔️ Donate all proceeds to support local river and trail projects, or
✔️ Receive a 50/50 commission split from the final sale.

This fun-filled evening features great food, drinks, live music, and a community passionate about protecting and enhancing the outdoor spaces that make Buena Vista special.

Join us Wednesday evening for some trail work - all skill levels welcome! Meet at the Midland Bicycle Trail at 5:30pm. We’ll bring all of the equipment needed and we plan to wrap up around dark. You can register for this event online- just click the link in bio.

We will meet every Wednesday each week throughout the summer, so mark you calendars and come contribute to your local trails!

Wednesday evening, 8 volunteers reworked the first few yards of the Bridge to Bridge trail as part of a town requested project. Now the new bridge decking will face less wear and tear from loose gravel coming off the trail.

On Thursday a group of 5 high school volunteers and 2 leaders joined our crew to rework a tricky section on Bacon Bits to bring that stretch back to a beginner level trail. These volunteers from the brought a fun energy to our evening and we really enjoyed having them join in!

Wednesday evening, five volunteers came out to work alongside BV Parks and Recreation. We added a rock sitting area and some native plants along the river trail overlooking the surf wave. Now you can spectate and cheer from the trail above even when the line up gets deep 🏄🏼
