We all had that one pair of shoes we loved so much. The pair we wore everywhere, couldn’t wait to show off, or never wanted to take off.

Every child deserves the chance to experience that same excitement of getting a new pair of shoes they love. For one child, it might be a pair of sneakers. For another, a pair of boots, sandals, or simply a pair they picked because they loved them.

Your gift can give a child more than shoes.

A 7-year-old girl came to The Closet in a pair of gold ballet flats, caked in dirt and worn beyond recognition. When we asked her what size shoe she wore, she told us she didn’t know because she had never owned a new pair of shoes.

That day, she got to choose a brand-new pair of her own.
