FAQ
What do we need to bring to tournaments?
✔️A copy of your wrestler’s USAW card.
(The copy can be printed, a picture on your phone, or their profile accessed via usamembership.com)
✔️Money for food. Outside snacks and drinks are frequently, but not always, allowed.
✔️Singlet, Wrestling Shoes, Head gear is not required for youth, though it is suggested.
When should we get there?
45 minutes before your child is scheduled to wrestle.
When will my child wrestle?
Each tournament has its own unique schedule for the day. Your child’s age will be given an allotted time during this schedule. This is an estimate. Contact a coach, Tiffany or Andrea during your first tournament and we will help you learn to track when your kid is up.
Is there an opening or closing ceremony?
Local tournaments do not have ceremonies, though we do kick things off with the National Anthem. State tournaments and National tournaments occasionally have ceremonies towards the end of the day.
If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out. I tried to go over the ones I have fielded so far this year. See you soon!
