Become a NAMI Brazos Valley Facilitator
Help Bring Hope, Support, and Recovery to Our Rural Communities
NAMI Brazos Valley is seeking compassionate volunteers to lead peer-led support groups in our seven-county service area, including Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington counties.
No professional counseling experience is required. We are looking for individuals with lived experience who are passionate about helping others.
We Are Looking For:
✅ Individuals living with a mental health condition who are in recovery
✅ Family members, caregivers, or loved ones of someone living with a mental health condition
✅ Community leaders who are committed to reducing stigma and increasing access to support
Facilitator Responsibilities:
* Lead peer-led support groups using NAMI’s proven model
* Foster a safe, welcoming, and confidential environment
* Encourage participation and mutual support
* Connect individuals and families with local resources
* Complete NAMI facilitator training
