📆 Mark your calendars: our annual Harvest Craft and Food Fair is taking place on Saturday, November 7 from 9am-3pm at Harriet Beecher Stowe School in Brunswick!

Get a head start on holiday shopping with 80 local crafters and food vendors, grab breakfast and lunch from local food trucks, and bring the whole the family for tons of fun in the Kids Corner - featuring free arts and crafts, glitter tattoos, and more!

➡️Follow our Facebook Event to stay updated and add the Fair to your calendar: https://www.facebook.com/events/2020959955275420

Proceeds from this event support MCHPP's food security efforts during the holiday season and beyond. You can contribute to MCHPP’s vital work through a direct donation, by bringing a canned or boxed food to donate to neighbors in need, or by purchasing a raffle ticket. Admission is FREE and no entry tickets are required. See you at the Fair!

Our Brunswick Landing neighbors, SaviLinx, recently brought their Leadership Team in for a volunteer shift at the Food Bank. They packed boxes for our grocery delivery program, sorted apples and grapes for the food pantry, and organized and boxed dozens of fresh eggs.🍎🍇🥚

MCHPP requires a community of supporters to power our programs - thank you to SaviLinx for taking time to participate in this important work!

Sharing an important article from the Portland Press Herald, a part of their Stretched Thin Series.

The included video does a great job of showing people's hard decisions and how Mainers are helping each other. To put this into perspective, September 2026 was MCHPP's busiest month ever at the Food Pantry. We served 2,606 individuals last month, representing 784 households and including 84 new households.

As the colder season approaches, we are so grateful to have had this 1000lb harvest of local tomatoes and peppers picked by a powerhouse team of volunteers from Wright-Pierce!

Thanks to funding from a University of Maine grant and this volunteer support, MCHPP clients will enjoy Harvest Tide Organics tomatoes in sauces and meals throughout the colder months ahead. 🍅🫑

*Last day alert!*

A generous MCHPP donor to MCHPP has agreed to match all new monthly recurring gifts for the entire first year - but the match is only through the end of September! Don't miss your chance to double your donation, and your impact, for 12 full months.

MCHPP's services are in greater demand than ever before, and your sustained support helps ensure that programs like our Food Pantry, Grocery Deliveries, School-Based Pantries, and Soup Kitchen have the resources they need to serve the most vulnerable in our community.

We hope you will consider supporting us in this important work! Together, we are not just providing meals - we are building a more compassionate, connected community.
