Well, Janky Bird , you’ve officially left your mark on us… and we didn’t even have to sit in a tattoo chair! And the best part? We didn’t even make you help cook dinner, wash dishes, or feed 300 hungry people this time!

Seriously though, your amazing gift is going to help us more than you know! We can’t thank you enough. You’re an incredible one-of-a-kind business that makes our community so awesome!!

We appreciate the heck out of you!! 🖤

🎄 Calling All Creative People! We Could Use Your Help!

We know that not everyone is a fan of AI-generated flyers, and that’s okay! We would absolutely LOVE to have someone volunteer their time and creativity to help us design a Christmas flyer for our upcoming Lighted Christmas Parade and Tree lighting.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes reality about Connect Linn County. We’re a small group of volunteers who also work full-time jobs, raise families, and somehow squeeze in planning community events in our spare time.

We use AI sometimes because it’s a tool that helps us get things done when there just aren’t enough hours in the day. It’s not because we don’t appreciate real artists or the talent and creativity that goes into graphic design!

So here’s our invitation! If you’re someone who enjoys graphic design, loves being creative, or just wants to put your talents to good use for the community, we’d love to hear from you!

We can’t offer a paycheck, but we can offer a whole lot of appreciation, recognition, and the opportunity to see your work shared throughout our community.

At the end of the day, our goal isn’t to make the fanciest flyer. It’s to bring people together and create fun memories for our little community.

If you’d rather see a human-designed flyer, we’d love to have a human volunteer to help make it happen!

Drop us a message if you’re interested!

Oh my goodness, Oregon sure decided to remind us what fall weather looks like today! ☔

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing vendors who showed up for the Brownsville Harvest Festival, even through the downpour! You all are troopers, and we appreciate every single one of you!

And to all the wonderful folks who brought their decorated trunks for our VERY WET Trunk or Treat… YOU ROCK! 🚗🍬🎃 Seriously, you stood out there in the rain, handed out candy, and put smiles on so many little faces! You definitely made some kids VERY happy today!

And of course, thank you to everyone who bundled up, grabbed an umbrella, and came out to support our vendors and enjoy the festivities!

We may have been a little soggy, our shoes may never dry, and our hair definitely didn’t survive… but that’s small-town Oregon for ya! 🌧️

Rain or shine, this community always finds a way to show up for each other!

With lots of love (and a few wet socks),
Your Connect Linn County Crew! ❤️

🎬 BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR CRAZY IDEAS! 🤪❤️

Ever wonder what goes into making all these community events happen? Well, here’s a little peek behind the curtain! 😂

There’s a whole lot of planning, running around, last-minute changes, laughter, a little chaos, and plenty of moments where we wonder, “Whose crazy idea was this anyway?!” 🤣

What you don’t always get to see is the incredible amount of hard work that happens behind the scenes. From the smallest details to the biggest projects, it takes some pretty amazing people to pull it all together!

❤️ We are SO thankful for everyone who gives their time, energy, creativity, and sometimes even their sanity to help make these events happen!

We work hard, but we sure know how to have fun along the way! And at the end of the day, seeing our community come together makes every crazy idea worth it. 🥰

Here’s to the people behind the scenes, the organized chaos, the endless laughs, and all the crazy ideas we haven’t come up with YET! 😂❤️
