Down at Pioneer Picnic we met a couple young ladies from China. They were here to watch the horse shoe competition. One spoke pretty good English, she was attending college in Maryland. Then they off to the coast to get some crab and lobster. We enjoy meeting and chatting with people.

Attention Veterans:

The American Legion invites you to come learn about the Veterans housing project opening in April 2027. The presentation will be made at the regular meeting of the American Legion.

A new housing project aims to support those who served.

Albany’s veterans complex remains on track for a 2027 opening, with affordable units and a resource center designed to help veterans navigate services.
