Our neighborhood is built by immigrants.
This June, in honor of Immigrant Heritage Month, we’re celebrating the community we serve every day along Liberty Avenue.
A few facts about our home:
• 41% of East New York residents are immigrants — naturalized citizens and newcomers alike
• 35% of all Brooklyn residents are foreign-born, more than 900,000 people
• The City Line / Ozone Park area is one of the fastest-growing Bangladeshi enclaves in NYC
• Over 200 languages are spoken across our borough, with dozens represented right here on Liberty Avenue
Our community is Bangladeshi, Guyanese, Dominican, Puerto Rican, Caribbean, West African, South Asian, and so much more. Every family has a story. Every journey matters.
At BACDYS, we’re proud to serve immigrant families with the resources, support, and respect they deserve.
Proud to serve. Proud to belong.
