Our young men are at war day and night
trying to survive in communities already burdened by crime, poverty, and discrimination. With a very dim light at the end of a seemingly very long tunnel, they need more options. will provide hope, guidance, counseling, curriculum, and support to the young men that need it most. The goal of this program is to organize and offer a tailored
curriculum in urban

communities across the country. will develop young men who desire to become entrepreneurs, working with them until their dreams are realized. The first step in the implementation of this program has already begun. The "Y.E.S. SUMMER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM" will
commence JULY 2015 in Bedford-Stuyvesent, Brooklyn and will cater to 50 young men
living in the Brooklyn community. In partnership with York State Summer Youth Employment
Program (SYEP), the young men will not only be educated on the steps to becoming an
entrepreneur, but also receive mentoring pertaining to community relations between
residents and police. More specifically, how to respond when approached by a police officer. There is also a Community Service and Beautification component where in which the young men will move throughout the community removing graffiti and cleaning neighborhood
parks. Lastly, with assistance from program mentors, the attendees will conceptualize, plan, and
execute a community block party/fundraiser collecting school supplies and redistributing
1000 branded backpacks full of collected school supplies for youth residing within the Bedstuy community. Upon completion of this six week program, we will be packaging the optics and campaigning to get this package in the hands every Mayor across the country, in hopes of receiving federal grants and funding to implement this program from coast to coast. Program are guided to reach their full potential as entrepreneurs and leaders in their community and beyond. Beginning in Brooklyn, the Y.E.S. Program is set to become a nationally recognized program that serves youths in communities throughout the country
