The mission of Rotary is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. The Brookings-Harbor Rotary Club is a service organization that is involved in supporting activities throughout the Brookings-Harbor community. Rotary strongly supports education by annually awarding four student scholarships, hosting the BHHS Student of the Month program, sponsoring two BHHS sophomores to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Training Camp and hosting an annual foreign exchange student. Rotary’s First Harvest Food Program and expansion of the Snack Pack Program at Kalmiopsis School both address local hunger needs. Rotary also supports the schools through the Sole Mates program which provides $2,500 each year in shoe vouchers for needy students. We also sponsor the BHHS Interact program, which helps students pursue service projects, and we also supply free dictionaries each year to all third grade students.
