What a fantastic evening at Cambridge Park!

Our Reach for the Stars Celebration and Cambridge Park Art Show brought together families, supporters, and community members to celebrate the achievements, creativity, and bright futures of our youth. From recognizing our graduates and youth leaders to showcasing incredible artwork created by our members, the night highlighted the many talents and accomplishments of the young people we serve.

A special thank you to Mrs. Karen, Miss Emma, and Mrs. Kayla for bringing the Art Show to life, and to Bristol Eastern High School Principal Michael Higgins, the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Board of Directors, the Bristol Housing Authority , and all of our volunteers, advocates, and supporters who joined us for this memorable event.

Together, we celebrated where our youth are today and all they can achieve tomorrow.

Today we celebrate not only your academic achievements, but also the growth, resilience, kindness, and determination you’ve shown along the way. It has been a privilege to watch you learn, lead, and become the incredible young people you are today.

Recently, some of our Club teens took a visit to Shepherd's Meadow, where they worked directly with horses through a free-of-charge program offered to youth members! 🐎

The experience provided a unique opportunity to craft skills in communication, patience, trust, and responsibility, all while having lots of fun to boot. By partnering with some equine friends, the Club members gained a better understanding of how their actions and communication can affect those around them – a core facet of the Boys & Girls Club of Bristol's vision. 🙌

Congratulations to the three Club members recognized for their participation in a partnered journalism program with the Boys and Girls Club of Bristol and The Bristol Edition!

During their time in this project, they helped create, produce, and direct podcasts featuring members of the community, giving an intergenerational approach to viewing stories while also refining production and interviewing skills.

☀️ Important Program Update for Tomorrow ☀️

Due to the extreme heat & Bristol/Region 10 Public Schools' early dismissal schedule, all Boys & Girls Club of Bristol School-Based Clubhouse programs (including Lake Garda School in Burlington) will close at 4:00 PM tomorrow.

The safety and well-being of our youth and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding as we work together to keep everyone safe, healthy, and cool during this heat wave.

Please plan accordingly for pick-up. If you have any questions, contact your School-Based Clubhouse site directly.
