🍷 October 22 | Feast in Full Color W**e Dinner
An elegant evening with Chef Miguel Larcher featuring six beautifully crafted vegan courses and seven fine w**e pairings. Gather around a beautifully set table, enjoy live music, and savor an exclusive dining experience made for a special occasion.

🇲🇽November 2 | Sabores de México (The Flavors of Mexico)
A colorful evening inspired by Día de Mu***os! Enjoy authentic Mexican dishes with Guest Chef Seve Ramos, tequila tastings, cocktails, and a live mariachi band. You bring your favorite person—we’ll bring the fiesta!

These words got us.
A recent guest left us an incredibly thoughtful and detailed review. She talked about the cleanliness of the cafe, the pay-it-forward model, and the food. She even stated that our turkey sandwich the best she’s ever had!

But the words meant the most to us were:
“Everything about the experience felt ...full of love.”
“It genuinely feels like a place where people come together to care for one another.”

That's the heart of The Ivy Table. We don't just want to serve great food that fills people physically. We work to create a place that feeds something deeper, too—a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, connected, and loved.

A day off work, and they chose to spend it volunteering with us!

On Monday, when banks were closed for Columbus day, about 20 volunteers from Independent Bank helped clean up The Ivy Table , both inside and out. They weeded, trimmed trees, cleaned out garden planters, organized closets, gave the dining room a deep clean, and washed dishes.

As one of our corporate sponsors, and we love how they support our mission both financially and through hands-on service.

Thank you for showing up, pitching in, and helping us keep our café a beautiful and welcoming place for everyone. We’re grateful for your partnership!

What a night 💚
Last night's Battle of the Bowls event turned out even better than we ever imagined.

Four incredible local culinary teams stepped into our kitchen for a night of friendly competition to help raise awareness for Hunger Action Month.
Captain Joes Grill
Preppy Pepper - Winner for Best use of Ingredients
El Arbol Taco - Best Presentation Winner
Brighton Bar & Grill - People's Choice Winner
Each team brought its own creativity, flavor, and personality to the table, making a signature bowl inspired by the challenge of transforming surplus ingredients.

And although the dining room was full of guests enjoying their delicious creations, our favorite part of the night happened in the kitchen.

Teams of chefs, who came in to compete against each other, ended up working side by side- sharing space, helping one another, laughing together, and genuinely enjoying the night. While our guests were building community around the tables, community was being built behind the scenes too.

That is exactly what why we created The Ivy Table...great food is simply the vessel that we use to achieve a greater good.

And, as always, none of it could have happened without our amazing volunteers who jumped in wherever they were needed and helped make the whole evening run beautifully. We are so grateful and blessed.

We called this our "first annual Battle of the Bowls"...
But after a sold-out crowd, an incredible response, and so many people already asking when we’re doing it again, we’re starting to wonder if once a year is enough?

Maybe quarterly? Different chefs. Different restaurants. Different challenges. What do you think?

Thank you to everyone who cooked, volunteered, attended, laughed, voted, and gathered around the table with us. It is a night we will talking about for some time!
