🌟BIG NEWS FOR SCSN & ARH: Amber Reineck House (ARH) and Second Chance Support Network (SCSN), two esteemed Livingston County non-profits, are pleased to announce their merger under a newly established parent organization, Pathways to Hope of Livingston County. This strategic partnership will bring together the resources, expertise, and programs of both organizations to better serve individuals overcoming challenges related to Substance Use Disorder, prior incarceration, and mandated community service.

When you donate to a cause, we know it’s important to trust that your contribution is making a real difference. At the Amber Reineck House (ARH) and Second Chance Support Network (SCSN), we honor that trust and ensure every dollar is used exactly as promised—especially when matching funds are committed!

Thanks to YOUR generosity and the matching donations we received, we’ve been able to make a real impact in the lives of those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina. Over the past two days we’ve purchased and delivered:

➡️ 15 cots
➡️ 36 camping griddles/stoves
➡️ 96 BIC Lighters
➡️ 75 fleece blankets

This is all on top of the items that continue to come in from Amazon ordered by our AMAZING Wishlist Warriors!! Together, we’re providing essential items to families who need them the most. Your support—whether big or small—matters, and we’re so grateful for each and every one of you.

Wednesday Night Wishlist Warrior Update!

Wow, there are truly no words for how generous our community (and beyond!) has been! Today’s Wishlist Warriors absolutely DELIVERED!!! 🚛💪 To list everything we received would take too long, but here are a few highlights:

🔥 3 camping griddles
🔥 11 camping stoves
🛏 9 adult cots & 5 kid cots
🔥 Over 5 dozen lighters
🛏 Nearly 3 dozen blankets
👶 7 extra-large containers of baby formula
🎨 Tons of kids' items: coloring books, footballs, games, crayons, and more!!

Thank you to Duane, Butzel Long, Brian, Scott, and James for their generous cash donations! 💸 Your contributions have gone straight to the Legion or helped purchase much-needed supplies for the October 17th delivery! 🙌

🆘 We’re excited to offer another chance to contribute to our Donation Drive with a second “Stuff the Truck” event! Join us on Friday, Oct 11th from 4-8 pm at Bible Baptist Church’s new location Pine Summit, 3900 Golf Club Road in Howell.

We have a few high-priority items that we are really hoping to collect:
✅ Ready to Eat Meals - protein bars, tuna/chicken kits, beef sticks/jerky, crackers
✅ Bug Spray
✅ Baby Food & Baby Formula
✅ Flashlights & Head Lamps
✅ Batteries

What an incredible day! Words can’t truly capture the generosity we witnessed at today’s Stuff the Truck event. In just four short hours, our community came together in a way that exceeded all expectations. And we accomplished our goal—to stuff the fire truck! 🚒

From everyone at The Amber Reineck House, Second Chance Support Network, the Brighton Area Fire Authority, and the American Legion Post 141 Howell, MI, we extend our deepest thanks to each person who contributed. Whether your donation was big or small, every donation made a difference. ❤️

To everyone who came through—many even twice—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness is what makes our community so special!

🚨We’re excited to be partnering with The Amber Reineck House and Brighton Area Fire Authority to host a disaster relief donation event TODAY, so we need YOUR HELP to help us Stuff the Truck!! 🚒

Watch the video to see how dropping off your donations at our downtown station is going to work. The main BAFA station is located at 615 W. Grand River—we’ll be here accepting donations until 2 PM.

100% of the donations made today will be taken to the American Legion Post 141 Howell, MI, who is taking everything down to North Carolina!
