🎉 What an INCREDIBLE day for the Bridgewater Juniors All Star Softball team! They played Mallard Creek from North Carolina. After 7 complete innings the game was scoreless and went into overtime. Mallard Creek failed to score in the top of the 8th. A runner from Bridgewater started on 2nd pursuant to overtime rules. After a passed ball led to a stolen base, Bridgewater’s Harper Sprouse was in scoring position on 3rd. Macy Randolph hit a sacrifice fly to deep center field allowing Sprouse to tag up from 3rd and cross the plate as the game winning run!

Bridgewater advances to the Championship game tomorrow at 11:30am. They will play the winner of the 9am game. Let’s pack the park and let these girls know all the support they have behind them! Only one game stands between them and a trip to the Juniors Softball World Series in Washington!!

Way to go ladies! Keep up the good work! 💙

🩵🎉📣Bridgewater Juniors Softball SE Regional Tournament Update:

After two complete pool games Bridgewater’s record is 2-0. After a tough start in their first game against South Carolina the girls rallied to score 13 runs in the top of the 7th inning to defeat Darlington Little League 16-9. In their second game they faced off against Western Branch Little League, retiring them after just 4 innings with a final score of 17-2.

The girls continue their pool play in the semi final game of the winner’s bracket tomorrow at Oakdale Park on Field 2 at 2pm. Come pack the house to cheer on these girls as they continue to make their run towards the World Series!
