Don't wing it! Your backyard flock or herd depends on you to keep them healthy by safeguarding them from biosecurity threats like Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

Join Tess Stahl (Extension Specialist for Livestock and Dairy) and Hassan Warriach (Warren County Agricultural Agent) for an informative session on biosecurity measures for your livestock. The event will be held in-person at the Rutgers EcoComplex in Burlington County on Friday, May 29 from 6-8 pm.

Farmers are actively preparing their fields for spring planting. If you encounter farm equipment on the roadway…

🚜 Slow down to the speed of the equipment.
🚜 Take your time to evaluate whether or not it is safe to pass.
🚜 Don’t fall victim to pressure from those behind you!
🚜 Remember, it is always illegal to pass over a solid yellow line.

Thank you for taking an active role in preserving the safety of our roadways for drivers and farmers, alike.

We’re excited to share that our new Motor Vehicle Safety initiative has launched, and you can now spot our signs posted throughout the Garden State!

Take a moment to look for the signs as you’re out and about. A small reminder can make a big difference in keeping our roads safer for all.

Stay alert, drive smart, and let’s make safety a shared priority.
