Agriculture and Resource Management brings the scientific knowledge and resources of Rutgers University and the nationwide land-grant university system to bear on solving problems for agriculture and natural resources management.

Join us for our first-ever “Brew & Shoe” education series:

Welcome to Flounder Brewing Co.! Just two weeks away, we are adding them to our list of partners!

Hosted at various breweries throughout New Jersey and paired with tastings and short educational talks, learn about the b**r-making process, and, on the horse side, an educational talk on equine shoeing and information about (and from) farriers.

While this is a FREE event, b**r tastings will be available for an additional charge, and purchases can be made at the brewery. Angelo's Kitchen, a food truck, will be offering various fare throughout the event, at an additional charge.

Spotted lanternflies feed on the sap of more than 70 types of plants, putting crops and trees at serious risk.
If you see a spotted lanternfly, you can help stop the spread by killing it — a quick stomp or a swat works, since they hop rather than fly.
Their egg masses can also be removed in the fall and winter. Look for sooty dark areas on trees or any flat surface. Scrape the eggs off with a card and crush them thoroughly.
