Students from Burnham School's fifth grade class had so much fun completing a scavenger hunt and tour of the Peck House yesterday! They loved the one room school house display, the retro fashions and the old time toys.
They enjoyed buying lemonade and popcorn for 1920’s prices - just seven cents per customer! And Mrs. Wilcox even provided the change for each of them to use at the Maple Lawn Gift House (the old name for the store that existed here in the 1920’s). 😊
During their visit, students took part in a fun, old-fashioned school activity, practicing tongue twisters on the porch. It was wonderful to have them visit and we wish them a great end of the school year!
Thank you to our volunteers who always make the visit so much fun.
